First I want to make clear that I am in touch with our Vet. and Two Two will be seen tonight but I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
I was active on this forum but got her blood sugar under control so I stopped posting but sadly she has taken a turn for the worst. She is 17 and has diabetes and kidney disease. She has been on insulin and a low carb/low phos diet for 1 yr. but her recent labs showed she is going down hill on all fronts BUN, etc.
All of a sudden she started walking in circles, is sniffing everything and is disoriented.
Her blood sugar is in check, she is eating and pooping but she won't stop walking around sniffing and bathing.
I am concerned with quality of life and will consider next steps if she does not get better in the next 24 hrs.
If anyone who has seen this and has any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
