Brief slide into the blue yesterday and then bouncing again. sigh. nice to know that this dose CAN bring him down, hoping it's enough to bring him down to the greens. Will stick with it for a while.

Rupert super BEBT this morning, vocal, hungry and demanding as usual! Another nice day in the making, I'm off to work Harvey again and hopefully take Ro and Squeak for a ride in the park. Hope everyone has a nice Sunday.

rather an ugly flat pink day so far today. Have had him on the EVO low low low carb for a couple of days...hm.... makes me wonder if his body isn't reacting because there isn't enough carb in the system for the insulin to work on so it's just making it's own sugar? who knows. will do a mix of friskies and Evo tonight...just trying different options although he likes to keep me guessing!

fairly typical 70pts an hour dive by Rupie tonight. Happy to see the yellow, annoyed (as usual) that he got there so fast, but happy that the dose seems to be having SOME effect. :smile: :evil: :-D

He just came and got me and demanded food and a test so he knows what he's doing! It is somewhat comforting to know that he will ALWAYS come and find me when his numbers are going down.

Hi Pip & Rupert,
That is quite a steep drop after the flat pink cycle. I hope that Rupie will find his best dose and his best foods soon. I tend to agree that a diet of mostly very low carb food can induce higher bgs, but that's just my opinion. (The theory that the body acts to counteract the low carbs.) I try to feed 4% as the "norm" (Wellness turkey and Wellness chicken).
