Sorry the skip didn't work out. You had such a dilemma to deal with.
We saw Monarchs migrating along the California coast every year. They were on a land jetty out into the Pacific ocean. They were resting in conifers. I was amazed. Must have been thousands. They must follow the coast. Amazing how such a delicate thing can make the journey. I hope you see some soon.
