I guess Joh :thumbup nny feels good to know that there IS new insulin in the house...totally full, minus the one drop that is....

I'm so sorry to be laughing...I know it's expensive and all....but it's just too much, isn't it?

Oh, feel free to laugh! It really is absurd and unbelievable and ridiculous and wonderful.

Yep, at this moment in time, it was a $112 drop. If he uses TWO drops, the value per drop will dive to $56. Not NEARLY as impressive.

I forgot to mention that our vet left me a voicemail yesterday regarding my request for the prescription for the pen. She basically said the same thing as the first one. Her concerns were that it is more expensive, difficult to dose accurately and an increased risk of contamination/infection. Ha! Good to know we'd probably still be in a holding pattern and using old insulin if we hadn't just made the decision to refill the vial when we did. Johnny definitely approves.
