8/19 DC AMPS=131 +1=137 +3=142 +5=178 +6.5=205 PMPS=360

[Noreen&DC&Frisky]

This is the 1st time DC has been in the blue at AMPS.
DC got sick just before his AMPS. Suspect a hairball.
He won't eat his food, but other than that seems fine.
I think I will have to give some hairball medicine, which will mess up his BG's, unless someone has another idea.
Is it ok to give hairball medicine or is there a better choice?

I have put plain vaseline on their paws...and that helps with the hairball. They hate that and must eat it off immediately.....
Or, you can give Omega 3 oils or olive oil too. Any lubrication works to loosen the hairball...maybe a little pat of butter..unsalted if you have it??

This is a first. DC's BG's have been in the blue all day.
I figured he'd start dropping about now. I guess a flat curve is better than a high spike.
And I did give him some vaseline @ his +3 test. Hopefully that helps. He still hasn't eaten much, but he has been drinking water.

AMPS = 131

So much for DC having a blue day. Now he's in the high pink.
And I thought he was having a really good day.
Haven't left for the lake yet. It's so smoky outside, I didn't want to go out, much less take the cats out.
Maybe we'll go in the morning.
