Chicamonkey is enjoying her stay at the “falls.”
She is doing well, playing more and still enjoying 50%Raw and 50% fancy feast or weruva pâtés.
I don’t think I’ll be able to break away from testing her at a minimum of 3 times a day. Mostly because of my own OCD issues and really wanting to keep an eye on her numbers.

The one thing that really stands out to me is that she has become her loving self again. I had noted on her ss there were a few times that she hissed when her BG was not well controlled and I thought maybe it was because of her eyesight. The last time she hissed was 5/14/21…. But now I truly believe she feels so much better.

when her BG was not well controlled, she was so ravenous and that is no longer the case. She eats and is satiated. No screaming for food anymore. This One time( at band camp) I caught her on the counter… she knocked the butter dish over and was eating butter!!!

Does anyone have any info on vision changes …. Can it be improved? I have noticed that when we play, her vision seems great, she can follow , with ease, tiny toys …

Im so grateful…. Extremely grateful

I’m glad she’s doing well. I think not testing would be tough. How about twice a day? Could she be getting cataracts? I don’t think I’ve heard of anyone doing anything for them. I know of a couple people that did that surgery for dogs.

I think her eyes are aging BUT since her bg has become regulated… and now normal, I truly believe she just wasn’t feeling well. I’m so happy that she trusted me ♥️
