Hope everyone is doing well <3 I wanted to check in and see what y'all thought about Taishi's numbers today. They've been on a slow decline all day since AMPS. Just checked him now (15 min before shot time) and got the lowest number of the day so far.

Unfortunately, he's already eaten. I know the best thing to do would have been to stall, test again in 15, then feed and shoot if his numbers were on the way up... but I screwed that up. It didn't occur to me that 177 might be "low" until I went to the computer to update the spreadsheet and by then, Taishi had almost finished his dinner :banghead:

We've shot at less than 200 before, but it was when we were sure his BG was on the way up without food. What do you think we should do? I'm sure if I tested him on the AlphaTrak he'd be in the 300s and I'd shoot no problem, but I'm trying to resist pulling that thing out and making myself crazy again ;-)
 
177 is a safe number to shoot but the cycle will be an active one since he's breaking a bounce.
Shoot and get ready for a PJ party. You'll have company from @smorgasbord.
 
151 at +3 (was closer to a +3.5). Taking into account margin of error with meters, these all could almost be the same number :banghead: but we'll take the blues where we can get them. Hopefully it means green tomorrow :D
