8/18 Mr. Howell AMBG 62 -- OTJ Trial Day 5

Good morning, LL!
Yesterday

Mr. Howell's appetite is returning, I just realized I need to put out smaller amounts of food in more numerous increments, otherwise he won't eat what's leftover. It also seems like if I put out less food, he thinks that's all he's going to get for the rest of the day, so he makes sure to eat it and I'm not throwing out 1/2can of food all of the time!
The gimpy leg is improving! Now with 50% less gimp. :lol:
I had to take the DBF to the airport this morning at 5ish, and soon it's off to work orientation meeting... @-) going to need a lot more

PMBG 64 -- Yeeeaah, he's cool as a cucumber.
Work orientation was meh, but free coffee and breakfast scone so hey no complaints here! Anytime I'll get paid to sit for 4 hours and watch someone else talk is decent to me. We had to go around and talk about what we use in our lives to eliminate stress (I live in a 'progressive' workplace :lol: ), the only thing I could think was Mr. Howell, how helpless I felt when he was first diagnosed, and how wonderful he's doing now! So I said, "I have a cat and I manage his diabetes. It takes up a lot of time." cricket... :shock: Didn't come out how I intended, now I'm going to be thought of as THE crazy cat lady, but we've all been there right?! What I meant to say couldn't be summed up in a sentence... the gratification I've been feeling the past few days of his trial has made every sleepless, penniless night worth it to me, to see how happily he attacks the couch cushions, and smites the coffee table legs...
If I could I would thank each and every one of you in person, with a hug I would, to express how deeply grateful I am for this website and your contributions to my kitty's happiness and wellbeing! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

the really sad thing is, i went to the user profile like you said to change my user name - and i apparently don't know my password. :lol: tried everything i could think of that had the right number of characters, but no go. so i'm stuck here. :lol: oh well. thanks for the info.
