Cosmo does like to break a bounce in style! Next time, keep all the action for one day (which was for PM cycle of 17) on the post for the 17th. I know you were getting conflicting suggestions there.
I'm glad you woke up and tested him and caught that 47. Cosmo has shown before that he can do red or black preshots with low numbers in the middle. Anytime you get that +2 before bed test and it's lower than his PMPS, it's a good time to set the alarms for later. Good job getting him up in the wee hours.
Cosmo is probably feeling a little dopey from the sudden increase in blood sugar numbers. Or I did see you fed him gravy - what product was that? Any chance there was something in the gravy that didn't agree with him? I had to switch HC wet to something without wheat.
It's a little nerve wracking that he will go from 500+ to under 50 in one day He also had a lower +2 on 8/16 and I set the alarm that night and he hadn't broken his bounce. We did take the reduction for this am. I am hoping eventually we can have a nice blue or yellow cycle and he doesn't do these crazy roller-coaster rides as much.
Noted about the thread... I thought so, but it was early, and I was without coffee at the time. Now today's thread is very long and it's still early in the day
Gravy was just from his regular gastro wet food. He also had a few licks of churo, which we stopped giving to him back in May, not knowing about the sugar content.
I just had a little vacation nap and Cosmo is doing good Thanks for checking in.
