This morning has been, thankfully, drama-free! Normalcy in Z-land!!! ;-) Appy is good, yard patrol finished, now helping with his condo. His numbers are too high, though, so it's another fattening tonight! A friend made a special flannel ear-warming sock with flax seed, just for Zener. We used it this morning after yard patrol and it worked perfectly.

In LL news, sending heaps of healing vines to punkin and julie. He's recovering from pancreatitis which has required squids which has dropped his BGs into the 20s and 30s. :shock: Julie cut back his dose to 3u last night from 9u yesterday morning. He's still fighting the C. diff too but progress is being made. Appy is better and he's enthusiastic about his pill pockets again! :-D More squids today. Marje is heading to So California for a 4 day spa vacation, courtesy of her sweet DH, and she's going to meet Ann/Tess and Dale/Max. It's the West Coast LL Reunion! Moonie is responding well to the Adequan, feeling better, eating well and nice blue and green BGs. Barb is worried about Daphne's higher bg (in the 140s) and is wondering if that is due to Adequan - sending green bg vines to her. Jasper is close to an OTJ trial. Tarragon had a severe asthma attack last night but is OK this morning. Sending some breathing vines and lower bg vines to him. Mannie had a nice slide into the lagoon this morning - enough of those stinky pinkys! But no permission slip to the bean and microbean to go swimming. :roll: Happy FRIDAY LL!

Nice sunny start for Zener this morning!! Glad it is drama free today, with a good appy and yard patrol completed. Now come on down Zener. Since you are helping with your condo I assume you know that more juice is on the way if you don't show some green. You can do it big guy!

Everything normal, all the Ps there. Even with those numbers, Zenner must be feeling great! Come down Zenner, give your beans a beautiful Friday!

So glad this AM is barf free! :-D

Right now looks like Zenner's going for a nice lagoon swim before mommy leaves on her va-ca.

Nice slide down to low blue for Zener. I guess he read his condo since he was already helping! Great job Zener and keep surfing! Maybe some greens later. Neat with the flannel sock and flax seeds. I've been using a prescription bottle filled with warm water, but I like your sock idea better. Great newsletter/update again and we will have to visit punkin and send some vines. Glad all seems well with Zener today and no barfing. Enjoy your day and good luck if Zener gets a fattened dose.

Looking like a really good day here! Thanks for the update--Wish we could have a NY-NJ-Conn-Penn reunion!!! That would be really cool!!

Zener is looking like he might have read his condo with that nice slide to low blues. You know what is next Zener!

I too like the idea of a flannel "sock" with flax seeds. I currently use rice in a regular sock when I need to warm the ear (like after a trip to the colder outside), but I think flax would be nicer. Did your friend use a real sock, or just some flannel cloth? I've got some of that around somewhere I could use.

@Melissa & Mr T - yard patrol very successful and poo patrol was called into duty! Zener's come down some but we're still not seeing the numbers we would like. We may give him another cycle or two... :roll:

@Angela & Blackie & others - our friend is making larger versions for humans and dogs for warming/heating pads. She made us an extra special size perfect for kitty ear warming! :-D

@Leslie - it's been a nice drama-free cycle into blue today and we are grateful! :-D

@shai - we are very happy we had a pukus free AM! Wish one of us was going on the spa-cation but it's Marje of Marje & Gracie and she is going to meet some other LL-ers in person! :-D

@Ann & Maggie - sometimes Zener reads his condo and other times one of his LL buddies sends him a text message. No greens yet on this fattened dose, so more may be needed. :cool:

@Roni - we LOVE the good days! :lol:

@Wendy & Neko - our friend made the sock with flannel cloth. She also made it with a little cover, so we can wash that. We'll try to take a picture and post in loose lips this weekend.

@Carla - our friend is just retired and has started some sewing arts projects for local craft fairs. This was her first cat ear warming pillow! Thanks for sending all the good wishes for Zener to feel better, he is following directions! :razz:

Zener's appy returned full force today, hooray! And his numbers were much better on this dose, so we'll stay here for another cycle or two and see what happens. He does love to surprise us so. :cool: :twisted: :roll:

Glad to hear it was drama-free in ZenerLand!

The ear warming pillow sounds like a great idea! Flax seeds are smaller than rice, so I bet it can mold itself to Zener's ear better. :-D
I use empty little syrup bottles from Cracker Barrel filled with hot water. :lol:

Oh Zener! I don't think that's the "inverted" curve your beans are looking for from you!!!! Hope today is a better...more blueish-green day!!! :-D
