I've used insulin pens for 3 months. I've used all pens to the last drop. Never had to discard a pen for going bad. If you are asking if a glargine pen will last more than 28 days, it will if stored properly. Are you keeping it in the fridge?

Yes.. in the refrigerator. Ok, because I got 2 different answers from the pharmacy and didn’t know. The one said 25 days and the other said months, so I wasn’t sure. I have a lot left and didn’t want to just throw it away if it’s still good.

Don't throw it away. You can continue to use it.
