Hi, furbaby friends in Lantus Land.. miss you all sooooooo much!
Baby is running 40's & 51 tonight.. in remission... normal? Kinda low to me.. not worried.. I know there is no insulin to make hypo... jus low & wondering why?

**4 days, til 4 months OTJ

no problem, maybe that's just her normal range. We had a kitty here who ran in the 20's OTJ, though that is pretty unusual. We see 40's fairly often.

I'm glad Baby is still doing so well!

Hi Nicole,

I just happened to stop in today and saw your post. From what I understand, as long as you are not giving insulin a cat is not likely to be hypo. When I have checked Sami recently she has been in the upper 40's low 50's most of the time, before and after meals. So I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Glad to see that Baby is still doing well.

Sami is really enjoying her time at the falls, but over the last couple of weeks I have noticed Sami drinking more water. But every time I check her sugar she is normal. So I took her in for some blood work and her kidney values are slightly higher than normal. I am hoping it is just a little dehydration. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi Nicole I tested Voodoo the other day a blue male that is buds with Do Lou and he was 31  and I am thinking is this normal?? so guess running low can be for some cats since he acted fine I would have been freaking had this been Do Lou and BTW its so good to see you and Baby (((((HUGS))))

Looks like you got your answers from the experts, just want to say what gorgeous numbers! :thumbup

Good to hear from you and so happy that Baby is doing so well.

Hi, Nicole!

Just out of curiosity...what meter do you use?

I wonder if anyone ever noticed whether cats who ran low when OTJ were being tested with one meter vs. another.

Scritches to Baby.
