Re: 8/16 Rusty AMPS 133

Have fun on your paddle! Your going to get wet anyway, what's a little rain as long as their is no lightning!

Funny that you leave the radio on. We leave the radio on in the kitchen (NPR) and then the tv is on animal planet. My DH is convinced that they like it that way.

Hope you have a great fun filled day!

Re: 8/16 Rusty AMPS 133

Have fun.
Rusty you have the place to yourself, go wild!!!

Re: 8/16 Rusty AMPS 133

Good start, but we do like you in green Rusty! Who doesn't leave the radio on? I'm betting classical in your house!

Rusty! I'm back at the lagoon, come and join me! Then sky diving, but mom said I'm low enough and have to watch only! cat(2)_steam -- Tess

Yep, Rusty listens to Vermont Public Radio Classical. I think he likes classical music, but he has no choice: that's what he gets to listen to (along with classic jazz). Stu was indifferent to music, but Alice loved classical music, particularly opera, and particularly Wagner, Strauss, and Gregorian Chant.

Our paddle today was great and the weather improved all day. We paddled about 10 miles on Long Lake and into a wilderness pond--Owl's Head Pond--via its outlet (ancient beaver dams, all overgrown with grass).

Rusty was in the mud room, waiting for us. He had eaten his lunch from his automat, but apparently slept through his +9 snack. I tested him at +10 and gave him a few boiled chicken cubes. Then we all sat outside on the crabgrass while Edward and I drank a beer and Rusty chased a bug down into the cellar window well (where he spent about 25 minutes "working" the bug). Then we all just sat in the golden sunshine of the late afternoon and relaxed. I love the late afternoon at this time of year. Our yard is full of goldenrod and it is beautiful.

I was saddened this evening to learn that Jan's Sara passed away last night. We send our deepest sympathy to Jan and her family.

Ella & Rusty

I hope you had a good paddle. A little rain sounds nice. I hope Rusty enjoyed the radio while you were gone. I do the same with Maggie and the radio, and sometimes I leave Animal Planet on for her to watch.

Rusty is playing flat cat today, huh? Well, it's a nice range to be in. Sounds like you had a perfect evening to finish the day off.

Rusty, you coming to Willie's to play kitty croquet? I really like diving at the balls to knock them through the hoops! That's more fun than the mallets! Especially if you slide all the way through yourself! -- Tess
