I wrote this yesterday, about the day before... kinda fits for today's entry too: "It seems that Mr. Liver wanted to make a statement yesterday, and so he did, around Mannie's +9, taking the poor boy from a nice low level blue to an ugly high end pink. :roll: Ok Mannie's we all know you have one, so time to put that guy to rest, and get back to business. We start this morning where we left off last night - a nice blue! Excellent work Mannie - keep it up. :-D cat_pet_icon" I sure would like to know what is causing those spikes at +9, give or take an hour. Welcome to the sugar dance... :-D

All is well in MannieLand.... The bean overslept, again! :shock: :o :roll: :roll: thanks you kitty choir for being persistent, and we are only (only?) a half hour late. They were all singing, including Mannie, who never sings. :lol: Mission accomplished, and the bean made it to the fuds place.... they were all so anxious. You could see it on their faces: "hurry up already, test the cat and FEED US! NOW!" They were all dancing this morning, all three of them dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat . So so impatient, which produced an expected side effect: a whack-a-thon. :lol: :lol: Many paths were crossed with all that dancing - personal space violated, and well... only one thing to do when your personal space is violated: WHACK, and whack again, several times over! :evil: :roll: :lol: :lol: We quickly rectified the situation, serving fuds... apparently good fuds, as all three of them made the clean plate club. :razz: :cool: :cool: Either that or they were just really hungry... Craziness here this AM... I have had my ~O) , survived the whack-a-thon, all three are napping, and well... life is good! Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! We have a beautiful sunny, but cool at 53, morning. I am headed into Seattle later today to visit friends. YAY!!! Until then.... cleaning. blech on that.

Kitties!!!!! We have sun here this morning! none of that marine layer my bean complains about...whatever that is.... anybody wanna go sailing? or maybe just hangout with friends? or hiking, or road trippin'? I dunno..... what shall we do? let me know - I am ready for anything! Hey - maybe even sky-diving. :shock: ~~ Mannie

Nice start for Mannie today in the blue lagoon! Surf Mannie surf! Sounds like a good chaotic morning at your house this morning. At least you got your chores done like a good servant.

Have fun with the cleaning. At least you are rewarding yourself with a trip in to Seattle to see friends.

Hi Melissa - thx - yeah, so true! we try so hard to be a good servant. never a dull moment here. :lol: :lol: Seattle trip is always fun - nice time over ~O) with friends I used to work with. YAY!!

Hi Michelle, nice blue for Mannie and hope he surfs nice blues and greens. I was wondering, too, what causes that spike at the +9 or around that time when he is doing so well all day. I guess it's the "he's a cat" thing! Maggie is so flat I don't know what I would do if i ever got a surprise spike. I take it back; I do sometimes get a spike with certain fuds, but then I usually know the cause. Nice to see the normalcy there in your household with the kitty whacking, choir and Mannie's possessiveness over his nanner! :lol: Enjoy your day - sounds so nice with the Seattle visit with friends. I always enjoy getting together with friends.

Those +9 spikes sure are confusing, aren't they?? Now Zoe will do the opposite....she will be a normal number at +9 and drop for PS ......the first time it happened, kinda surprised me...now just normal. :lol: It must be exciting having 3 little ones....and they all have to wait for Mannie to be tested before fuds are served....LOL...what a picture.

Hey Mannie.....skydiving, huh? Never done it, so sure, why not??!!!! I'm up for anything...it is rainy here today, not a sunbeam to be found. :cry: See ya for some sky diving and hanging out. ~Zoe

Hi Ann - me too - close to the greens, I hope he can make it there today. paws crossed! Probably on the +9, he's always done that - and it drives me crazy.... just Mannie being Mannie, though I wish he didn't spike so high. and thanks - DT Sea will be fun - it is nice to head on out for a while.

Hi Sherry - they do all ave their own little quirks, don't they. :-D :-D I'm used it his spike - still drives me nuts, but it's expected more often than not. Yep - I like having three - they all get along too. It is interesting, but they all know they have to wait until Mannie is taken care of. and so they wait, with whacking thrown in for spice. :lol: :lol:

Morning Iorwen - so true - i was late, they had to wait for Mannie's stuff, whacking ensued, result = very hungry kitties! and thanks - day is great so far, and paws crossed on the blues and greens. :-D

Hi Roni! yep - whackers have returned. so so funny! silly kitties.... i think he does like teh blue floor - sure spends enough time there of late. no complaints from the bean!

Looks like the clear weather moved north, the marine layer is back today. Iy's finally supposed to warm up here, just in time for a trip to LA. :roll:

Mannie, Sky diving? Mom said I did that yesterday! It was kinda fun though. I'll bring salmon puffs, nice and light so we won't drop too fast. Mom's orders today! confused_cat -- Tess

Hi Ann - yep - it's a nice number to be at, o I can leave for the afternoon in a few and not worry about him. Always a good thing. :cool: :cool: I sure hope he makes green today - please Mannie? We have exceptionally good weather - thanks for sending it! :lol: :lol: They predict a whole week of this: 55 at sunrise, 75 by days end, clear skies. I'll take it! as we all know the dreary drippy raining PNW fall is coming....

Hi Tracy - i really do need to do that. I had better set the camera out the night before... heaven knows that by the time I got it in the morning they will have stopped... or be savvy to the presence of a camera and cease all activity. They always know....

I did start a new pen tonight, only because he was due - it's been thirty days, and I start a new one at that time, always. I doubt this is the problem here, more than likely Mannie is just being Mannie.

Michelle, I hope you had a good Tuesday visit with your friends. It is a neat thing to do every week. Mannie, your numbers are a puzzle to your mamabean. Can't you do something about those +11s? So you had lots of whacking today. I'm amazed that they can do this day after day and not be hurting!! It's like a boxing gym!!

Hi Ella - The visit was really nice - it is fun to head into Seattle, see former co-workers(s), catch up on the latest. tough this time we just talked hikes. :cool: :cool: I had fun with that. I really look forward to making the trip every week - it is fun. -- and who knows on these numbers... i just don't get it. I know he can spike at +10/*11, but these are just so high. weird.... -- I know on the whacking - you think they'd tire of it, but noooooooo... it's like setting the pecking order, reestablishing the boundaries... :lol: :lol: the mornings are rally the only time that they do this stuff...
