17 units each cycle.
I've been thinking about the vacation dose. I'm tempted to stick with 16.5 since he's not hitting greens on 17 but don't want to let him get too close if he doesn't eat one of his snacks or food. So I was thinking 16 units would be safer. I'd hate to lose any progress but rather have him safe.

Thoughts?
I'll continue the 17 units tomorrow both cycles and check in again to see if that data helps.

I tried to get them to let me bring him. I even pulled out the "But he needs insulin every 12 hours!" Only way they would consider him was if he was a registered therapy or service animal. He is far from both of those things. I mean isn't every cat technically a therapy cat? I'm very lucky to have a life long friend that has taken care of a diabetic dog for years. She is my sister's best friend from childhood and she lives a block away. Best part: Chuck likes her!
I just imagined taking Chuck to the edge of the ocean.:D I think I'd come back looking like an octopus after he shredded my legs.:woot:
