Zener is doing fine this morning. Appy is great, just a little chasing around with the food bowl. :lol: He got out on yard patrol first thing this morning so he is happy. He's helping with his condo again this morning and Tillie is in her usual morning spot on the heating pad. All in all, that 323 isn't too bad this morning. Let's see some blues today, how 'bout it? We've stopped getting the +1 since he has consistently been a little higher than PS lately (anti-jinx). He doesn't seem to mind missing a couple of pokeys. :lol: :lol:

In LL news, another OTJ party today! This one is for Karre and Jane aka Larissa. Who knew? I didn't. :roll: No wonder I was confused. Today is also Tarragon's birthday! He's 12 with a wonderful WCR. Leo is done with his 5 days of cerenia and Tracy is back to work tomorrow so DGP will be watching Leo like a hawk this week. Grayson paid a visit to the blue floor yesterday! Maggie is still having hard poo issues so she gets more miralax. Rusty is using his extra juice well. Trixie is having a bit of a bounce along with the sniffles. Back to the lagoon, everyone! Checks is there to greet you. :mrgreen: Gracie was there last night after her dosecrease in the morning. Work that juice! Happy Wednesday LL!

Hi guys .. yay for a good appy this morning! I'm sure zener doesn't mind the fewer pokes and if you know he's consistent, why waste strips right? Tillie, isn't it to warm yet for a heating pad?? Have a great day guys!

Nice slide today for Zener down to blue. I agree with the +1 and saving the poke as you have a lot of data. I skip to +3 but only because I know Mags and she moves so slow. I think Zener is a happy camper when he does his yard patrol. I take it he's doing the poo thing in the lb. :-D Tillie on the heating pad; is it a little cooler there these days?
Really great newsletter, Liz, we don't know how you do it and it's always so neat to read what's happening in one place and not miss out on important events. Mags said she'll try and do better tomorrow. Have a great afternoon.

Hey!! Nice Slidage there Zener today :-D --Glad his appy is good & he is feelingas Moonie's fine...Wish I could get Moonie on a heating pad!! No such luck, I think she's afraid of it?? confused_cat
Glad he got outside today & that he is happy! I only test the +1 & +2 if Moonie's AMPS or PMPS is particularly low...I do +3. 4 & 5.as her nadir is somewhere there near there...Last few days been doing many tests, so I will try to lay off if I can..
Hope ZEN does great today & that he slides into lovely numbers tonite... :mrgreen:

@Devon - we've never felt like Zener was consistent until recently, or maybe we're just getting more confident we can manage drops! :roll: I'm with you on using fewer strips! We still get pretty cool overnight so a heating pad must feel good to the QOE (Queen of Everything).

@Shai & Fitzel - Zener is a very good boy! :twisted: We only let him out because he can't climb or get out of the yard because of his cerebellar hypoplasia. And he is only outside if we are home and can keep an eye on him. Liz trained our civvie, Tillie, with a harness and lead clipped to a clothes line across our backyard. After weaning her off the lead, she tried to get out twice, but after serious chats she gave that up. And as requested, BLUE! Zener loves to please.

@Melissa and the birthday boy Mr T - he decided pink was not a good OTJ party color last night, something about spray paint... He's wearing blue tonight! :razz:

@Ann & Tess - LOVE the slide! He had a sort of "normal" lantus cycle after his high AMPS. Woo hoo, he's been hanging in the grotto a lot today! :-D

@Ann & Maggie - we are working on testing a little less, unless he is dropping. His patterns have been drops early and slides or lantus dips late so we never really know when his nadir might be, it's a moving target. :lol: Poo patrol was on IT today! Dectective Poo spotted some suspicious activity in the part of our backyard where poo goes to die. Chief Inspector Crapdash excavated the evidence later and voila - nice, healthy poo - woo hoo! :thumbup Drat that constipation in our Ms Mags. It took us a long time to get the right combination of things with Zener too. We have paws crossed Ms Mags leaves a lovely fluffy prezzie soon!

@Roni - we love blues and now want greens. Beans are never satisfied. ;-) We have the kitty heating pads tucked inside flannel sheets or towels that the kitties like to sleep on already. We are opting to not test @+1 lately unless his numbers are low at PS, since he's been consistently showing a food spike. It's an experiment! :cool:

Zener's had a good day and is enjoying some lovely backyard time on his bench, watching the birds' evening feedings and surveying his domain. Happy Wednesday evening LL.

Nice bounce-clearing today, Zener! I know what you mean about wanting those greens, but you gotta be careful about saying that sort of thing out loud - you may end up with way more green that you want (ie PJ Party/PokieFest)! I hope Zener obliges without nose diving into the lagoon.
