Morning! It sure looks like Maggie is staying flat. One of these days she is really going to surprise me. My sweetie is always in a good mood and was hungry this morning. She's had her treat and two mini breffifs and is now snoozing away!. Maggie had what I thought was a good shot, but I wasn't sure when I withdrew. She never jerks during the shot and is so patient while I count to ten. She often jerks just as I get set with the strip to get a drop, but I think her little ear gets sore and out comes the Neosporin. Well, what's up with today with everyone? I am going to get a walk in when daylight breaks and try to go a little further, building up slowly. I am house sitting, so later I need to check on my friend's place while she and DH are in Europe visiting family. No pets, just plants, mail and generally check on things. Have a nice day. Special thoughts for all those kitties not doing so well today.

Hope Maggie's shot was a good one. Sounds like she has such a happy life. Food, treats, sleep that's how to live! :lol:

Hi Ann, I'm sure it was a good shot this morning--yep, it was a good shot!! It's interesting: Rusty doesn't mind the ear pokes at all and comes to the test site without even being invited (often he is there, waiting). But the insulin shots are a whole other story. Sounds like our kitties are the reverse of each other!!

Have a good walk today. We have rain and it's doubtful if I'll get out to do anything to stay fit today.

Good start for Maggie! Back to tbp for me today, but that is ok. Gotta make the money to buy the fuds and pay the vet bills. :lol: Hope you had a great walk and that your neck is feeling better!!

Nice way to start your day today - walking. Good to on building on the distance. Soon you'll be doing miles on end. :-D

Good luck with the house sitting - yay! no pets to worry about, just plants... that can sometimes be worse than pets. :lol:

Hi Iorwen, thanks, it was a good shot and no furbie. I know; don't you wish we all had it half as easy as our kitties, especially the sleep part!

Hi Ella, it looks like I did a real shot. Maggie is so flat and drops so slowly that I've been able to do less pokes. Yes, Rusty abd Maggie are opposites with the pokes and shots. Maggie doesn't mind the shots at all. The ear pokes must sting a little for her.

Hi Melissa, sorry about tbp. Thanks for thinking of me, as the neck pain is better today. I have to remember to always do the exercises. I hope your day goes well and no hiccups at work. I hope Tarragon is doing okay with your son off to college.

Hi Michelle, I hope so, too, with the nice numbers for Maggie. She's been having nice stable numbers the past few days, anti-jynx. I did get a walk in and saw one neighbor doing his walk and one dog with its Owner. There's hardly anyone stirring that early, but it's so nice and cool for walking. Yes, I keep adding a little on with the walking.

Part of this is fuds. I left Maggie asleep on the bed when I left and had forgotten I left her a dish of fuds. When I went back into the bedroom, I saw part of the food was eaten within the two hour frame, forgetful Bean!

Nice Blue day for the Mags! Hear you are house sitting! Great that there arent any pets for you to worry about--WE ALREADY HAVE OURS!!!--Hope the blue turns to green and you guys have a nice evening-

That sure is a very flat cat you have Ann! Leo and Maggie must have phoned each other this morning, Leo has been flat and 70 all day!

I hope you had a nice stroll this morning and had fun house sitting, i hope you have a green thumb when it comes to plant sitting, i know i kill pretty much every plant i've ever had and my friends prob wouldn't trust me to house/plant sit. :lol:

I'm glad you had a nice walk. I love walking the neighborhood in the morning - really early. People just waking up, so many here hang out on their porch, coffee in hand, one gets so many greetings. It's kinda fun. I used to do the neighborhood all the time, until I started heading down to the sore. I should go an do that again.

Have a great evening - I hope Maggie has a good cycle.

Hi Christie, thanks, Maggie is so predictable. She won't go any lower than this +3, but I will still do another poke, as I'm wide awake.

Hi Roni, no pets, just place their mail inside and water plants and generally make it look like there is someone there every day or every other day. I don't think Mags will hit any greens tonight.

Hi Tracy, I do wonder about our two conniving with the flat cycles. I know; I'm not that good with plants myself, so hope they survive me taking care of them. So glad to hear how well Leo is doing on Day 5!

Hi Michelle, it is fun walking the neighborhood, as I run into a couple pets I've met when first moving here, a beautiful Yellow Lab named Bear and a cat named Lucky because a neighbor adopted him after he was left behind. It looks like Maggie did have a nice cycle with coming down at the +3. I think this is her Nadir.
