Good Morning World! Yesterday
AMPS 314
BIG Ugly pink toad this morning - the only thing I can think of is that he woke up and ate shortly before we got up and I tested handing me a food spike.
The storm didn't miss us the time - we've already been out cutting up 2 HUGE limbs that broke off. One was at neighbors but the other was one of ours. It came down swinging it's broken end missing my Dodge pickup by a couple of feet, swung right by DH standing there watching and crashed into one of my memory garden areas. I have all sorts of little planters there - several glass ones, things like single sugar bowls with a chip, misc cracked creamer, etc. They all went flying...and not one broke! It even knocked one of my carriage lights off the shepherd's hook into the rocks but didn't break the glass.
Leo spent his first night in the crate - he did fairly good but I made a mistake of leaving it on the floor. Schniggles spent the night raking his dry food out of the bowl and onto the floor so she could eat it. The water was knocked over and litter was all over the place. Oh well, it WILL get better. Scruffy spent the night in his room again FINALLY - it was too stormy for me to even think about leaving him in the greenhouse with the door open slightly. I'd worry about him all night.
Hugs to all that visit today - hope you're all enjoying cooler weather like we are right now.
