Amps 387 Contour 😳

Yikes, that was a nasty AMS. We are on day three of the latest increase and I am certainly not loving her numbers.
I just tested her at +4 and she dropped to 116. We are still blood testing and not using the Libre.
So I’m not sure what I’m doing about dosing at the moment.

Still processing the news from yesterday about the VDI neoplasia Index fGI.LSA test results suggesting lymphoma 😭😭😭

And her cobalamin levels went from high in December 2025, to low normal now. Something has changed.
We are going for an ultrasound on Tuesday and I scheduled an oncologist visit for the following Wednesday 8/26.

At the moment she’s eating well and her poops are good πŸ™
Hoping that continues and hoping the B12 shot doesn’t wear off before her next one is due on Thursday as a weekly shot right now.

Still giving Cerenia, a tiny dose of 2 mg ondansetron and full dose of Mirataz.

This is a lot to handle guys. My brain is exploding in my heart is heavy.

Trying to love on her as much as I can. She’s climbing on me for lots of love and hugs and purrs, my sweet and spicy girl πŸ’žπŸŒΆοΈπŸ₯°

Hope everyone has a calm and very boring weekend. Give those kitties extra hugs and kisses πŸ’–

Here’s Ivy last night, supervising moving some equipment around the gym after some renovating πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜»πŸˆ

Hi Stacy, just happened to be dropping by as I do every once in awhile. Sorry to hear about the lymphoma possibility but good to see Ivy hanging out at the gym and to hear she's eating well. Hoping for some good news on the 26th. Sending you all good thoughts for the best possible outcome.

Hi Jodey, it’s always so nice to see you pop in. I really appreciate your sweet message.
I’m surely praying for a miracle on the 26th,
Sending you lots of :bighug: :bighug::bighug:

Staci, I can't imagine all you are juggling with life right now, just with Ivy alone!! I'm glad the eating and poops are somewhat normal now and hope that continues. Keeping you and your sweet/spicy girl in my thoughts and prayers. πŸƒ πŸƒ πŸƒ πŸƒ πŸƒ :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Thank you so much Mary. We really appreciate the prayers and good thoughts πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

Staci, I’ve been quite absent lately because I’m taking care of Mami Cat at the moment, and I’m also a little tired and worried.
I’ve been praying for the Lord to give me strength and to equip me with everything I need.

I wish you lots of wisdom, peace and serenity, and the very best decisions for Ivy. I wish you both all the very best. Sending you my love and prayers 🩷

Oh Clarice, thank you for this. I so appreciate you and your support and prayers.
I send them back to you and Mami too πŸ™πŸ’žπŸ™πŸ’žπŸ™πŸ’ž

Just saw this. I’m glad Wendy saw it sooner. The vet that used to respond on the scl group feels that cancer test is bogus. When Max was 12 he had an ultrasound that was done by a traveling vet that found all kinds of things wrong EXCEPT pancreatitis. Tiffany had intermediate cell lymphoma at the time and boy was I scared. Well the group vet disagreed. So I went back to my original vet who I had not yet seen for another opinion. I had tried out a cats only vet who did the ultrasound but did not test for pancreatitis. My original vet agreed with the the group vet and had me get another ultrasound by his preferred radiologist and tested for pancreatitis which is what it turned out to be.

So take this one step at a time. I would get the ultrasound asap and go from there. Fingers and paws crossed for good results. Goods stool is encouraging. There are definitely other things it could be so do not jump to large cell.

I’m glad it worked out so well for you πŸ’ž

I’m very concerned here because Ivy was tested for Pancreatitis values at TAMU and they were not elevated. So it doesn’t appear she actually had pancreatitis.

The loose stools appear to be coming from something else.

The elevated cancer test from VDI does seem to indicate some kind of lymphoma. Obviously we do the ultrasound and see what we find.

However, also our last VDI cobalamin test in December 2025 had her elevated levels extremely high.
Now she is low normal so as one of my vets mentioned something happened between being exceedingly high to now being low normal in eight months.
😭😭😭

What is goods tool???
Thanks Elise πŸ’–

IBD can cause low cobalamin too as can small cell which is quite treatable with a pill every two weeks and often complete remission with no chemo in a year. I have no idea what is wrong but hopefully no masses.

You have to chuckle at my typos. Good stool was meant.

Oh no, Staci πŸ˜” I'm devastated to read about your results πŸ«‚πŸ’• I'm really hoping they are bogus, like Wendy and Elise said they could be. Either way, my heart is absolutely breaking for you and your sweet Ivy. Just look at her in that gym! She's too sweet!!! I wish you weren't dealing with this, but I know you're Ivy's biggest champion and will do everything you can to make her feel better and get her what she needs. Please keep us posted on the ultrasound and then your oncologist appointment. I'm really hoping they go well.

In the meantime, sending all the love your way with many many healing vines πŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒ
