Good morning our friends in LL! We are sending the most powerful prayers we have for Sara and Jan. Please know you are in our thoughts.

Despite the "b" last night, Gracie seems in relatively good spirits. I swear she did that so she could get a solid night's sleep without being poked. Smart girl. Smarter than the bean. So she has all 5Ps in place and is stretched out on the catio where it is cool and cloudy again today. Her partner in crime, Tobey, is also there. They took turns batting around the Go Cat mouse after I stuck the wand in the chair cushion so I could get some other things done.

Although I had long since gone to bed, I got a HUGE KICK out of the exchange between Julie and Anne (Zener) on our condo last night. It absolutely cracked me up!!! Thanks, girls...I did need that for this Monday morning. The gist of it was that, earlier in the day, Anne had said Gracie was flatter than North Dakota. And then the "b". Julie responded last night by saying:

i think her ego was threatened by being told she was as flat as north dakota. gracie is not a flat cat. she doesn't want to be called a flat cat, and she can zoooooooommmmmm to prove it

And the conversation continued from there. And yes, Julie was right....I badly needed the uninterrupted sleep. So thank you, Miss Gracie, but it wasn't really that necessary for you to be such a Drama Queen about it. Mama is rested..time to come down.

Working today from home. ONE more Monday to work and that's all the Mondays out of the way. After today I have 7 full time days left!!! I hope everyone has a good day although it is tough when one of our LL own is so very sick.

LOL...and I love your bouncing "arg" smilie!!! Glad you got some rest, sorry 'bout the bounce, though. Congrats on the countdown to retirement!!!

Yes, Marje, there is definite collusion going on! I think we need to enroll them in the LTS after school program this fall. :roll:

ah Gracie..... such drama. But good girl - you let your bean sleep. now it's time to come on down. Have a good one today - looks like Gracie has decided the lower floors are better. YAY!!

Hi Marje, that was nice of Gracie to let you get some sleep last night, and today it looks like she will let you work....so far, so good! I hope she comes down but slowly, Gracie. Maggie always seems to feel the best when she is high for some reason. Have a nice day.

Good evening, guys!! Gracie is looking MUCH better mid-cycle... hope it continues into tonight. Going to have to go back and read your condo from last night... i missed all the fun! :lol: :lol:

Thanks everyone for visiting today. Gracie has been doing her slide into PMPS as she clears the bounce. When she does this, I usually feed the +10 to keep her from dropping more as she continues to drop after PMPS. Paws crossed for a nice green surf.

Oh my goodness Gracie, you are following in Zener's paddy pawprints. It's stalling night in the wild, wild west. These Arizona kitties must be chatting with each other. ;-)

And I do still apologize for insulting you by saying you were as flat as North Dakota. So, please forgive me and get yourself up into safe numbers for your bean!

No worries, the night is still young! I'll be up for a few more hours too. ;-)

Green is my favorite color Gracie, but give you mama bean a break.
 
So evidently you all did not scare her and that 39 is a wrap for me!!! I fed the little princess and will check her until she's coming up nicely.

Thanks for all your support tonight. I've got to get some dinner and tend to the other cats. Everyone is feeling ignored.

Hate to leave you all but I'm taking advantage of the extra time to snooooozeee for a change since I have to work tomorrow.

Wow is right - I missed a lot of excitement last night! Congratulations on the reduction. Gracie sure did not like being called a "flat cat" :lol: Hope you got some rest, Marje. Only .....days until retirement. I can't remember the number. Hugs
