Good morning everyone!

Thanks so much to everyone for being patient with me and dealing with my hysteria. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the encouragement and advice I've been getting. :YMHUG:

The vet tech came last night and we gave Bob fluids - he tricked us! He was being totally mellow and lying in his laundry basket and then he made a run for it while the bag was still attached! :o So she chased him down and we didn't lose any water! Yay!

I did give the appetite stimulant. All I can say is Yikes! He kept me up all night. I guess that was the "aggitation" side effect. I won't be giving him those again until absolutely necessary. Even while on them, he would meow, follow me to the kitchen, climb up my leg and then when I put the food down, he would sniff it and walk away. confused_cat What is up with this cat?? Anyway, he was all over me during the night - I think I got 3 hours sleep. He wanted to sleep on my stomach, but he wanted to make a bed for an hour and half first. then he decided he would rather sleep by my leg. Then he wanted to be under the sheet. Then he wanted to walk back and forth at different sections of my body. I am EXHAUSTED! I maybe slept for about 3 hours.

FYI - did not feed old dry, but it's still not off the table totally yet. He wasn't eating this morning and still not much last night, even on the stimulant. Maybe talk to vet about possible pancreatitis when I get back?

So I leave today at 5 and I won't be back until Monday around noon. Not sure if I will be able to post as this is supposed to be a pretty intense thing and may not have any time, but I will try to check in and keep Bob's ss updated.

I better get my work done as I am leaving early. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend and all the kittehs are feeling frisky! Thanks again to everyone for all you do! Love you all!! :-D

Poor Bobber! I'm sorry he's giving you such a tough time, Dara. And that he didn't let you sleep before your day of travel. Doesn't he know how tired you'll be walking through the airport, crashing into people because you're so exhausted? The little brat...lol. Good thing is, maybe the lack of sleep will force you to pass out on the plane so you won't be so anxious about flying. See, just a little silver lining.

Try not to worry about Bob while you're gone. He's in good hands, and you've done everything humanly possible to ensure his comort--and well being--are properly tended to in your absence. The weekend will go fast, and you'll be back before you know it.

Sending you some positive vines for safe travels--and for a peaceful/healthy weekend for Bob.

HUGS!
