Yesterday was such a great day for Mannie - sure looks like he has held his dose reduction from last Wednesday adventure. :-D I really liked the fact that we were able to control yesterday's cycles with 3-4% LC foods. That was really nice to see. We are blue once again this morning, and I hope for another good cycle. The +1 is up some, more than likely a food spike. Hope so anyways - we shall see what he decides to do today. Go Mannie! cat_pet_icon I had hoped to go hiking today (weather window today...), but decided that with a 119, best stay put. We will do the local stuff here today instead. :-D

I was so tired when I went to bad last night :roll: that it was no surprise to me when I overslept this morning. :shock: 30 minutes. :o I suppose it could have been worse. :roll: The kitty choir however performed flawlessly and made sure the bean got out of bed. :-D :lol: :lol: It did take a group effort however: BJ, as lead vocalist, bellowed in my ear as loud as she could, pawed my shoulder, nudged my cheek. Good girl! :cool: Mannie and Else waited at the foot of the bed, chiming in when they felt it was necessary. :lol: :lol: I love the kitty choir! I hate oversleeping,one then spends the next few minutes running around like a madman trying to make up 30 minutes: IT WASN'T HAPPENING... :shock: :shock: The troops cut me some slack though.... and waited.... patiently... Test feed shoot was good. Mannie was purring so loudly. Maybe he knew that once this was done he could eat. :lol: :lol: :lol: and eat he did: record pace, and with gusto, and clean late club membership intact for sure. :cool: All the troops are now napping, their morning mission accomplished. and hey - civility reigns here, no civvvie whacking observed. Weird, but good kitties! Yep, all is well in MannieLand. Life is good.

Have a great day everyone! I am not too sure what is up here today... I hope I can get in a shoreline walk this AM, to make up for my canceled hike. We are supposed to have rain by this afternoon.

My friends! WOOT!!! and what a full moon party we had! DID YOU BELIEVE those catfish???? Kudos to Rusty who found a fry pan big enough. We did good kitties - catfish, sturgeon and walleye - YUM!!! It was so nice to see the smile on Leo's face when we brought him party fuds, and celebrated with him while he is in quarantine... it was so cool. so what do you guys wanna do today? I think we need to hang out at a pool and chillax for a while.... See you later? ~~ Mannie

Mannie is having some really beautiful cycles.....the dose reduction seems to be taking (anti-jinx!!). It is nice to be able to control the curves with just LC fuds....I have found that to be true with Zoe, too.....a little bit of LC and she does well.....even if I need HC 9-10% has worked beautifully. These little kitties are so amazing! Zoe does the same in the morning....runs to her testing spot and waits for me...then purrs up a storm! LOVE that morning time with her.

Hey Mannie.....whew. am I tired.....so much good fuds last night at the full moon party....and so much travelling....I'm glad we saw Leo! Pool is open today for any kitties that just want to hang out and relax....my bean just said the grill is available if we have any left over fish..... ~Zoe

Hi Michelle, I kept meaning to get back to your condo last night to catch up on Mannie and the new dose, but was so tired and fell asleep early, although not for long with my broken alarm clock (Maggie)! :lol: Mannie is doing awesome on this shave, was it a shave? What a nice cycle yesterday and on low carbs, too! Sometimes even with a +3 with Mags it can be a food spike, so I bet it's a food spike with Mannie. I know how it is sleeping in - it messes up the psyche, as with our sugar kitties, we have such a set routine. Enjoy your walk along the shoreline. I plan on getting in a walk, as it always makes me feel so much better. Have a wonderful day and glad that kitty choir was practicing this morning.

Hey Mannie, what a party last nigh, all those fish, especially the catfish my favorite, but I loved the others, too. Oh wow, sunning and swimming at Zoe's sounds wonderful as it's cloudy here today. i'll be waiting for you to picks me up. See ya soon.

Morning Sherry - i think so too on the reduction - YES!! ,and a double affirmative on the anti-jinx. :lol: So agreed on the curve management with the LC fuds. It is so much better. Agreed too on the 9-10 being his "HC". Wednesday last week was the first in a while where I even opened a can of 14%, but he was in the 30's that day... I sure do like his ability now to use just the LC stuff to his advantage. the purring thing at test time is nice isn't it. I enjoy our time too.

Hi Beth - many thanks. It's been so nice lately. I keep hoping it will last - seems he is on a roll. Keep on truckin' Mannie!

Hi Ann - Oh I know on the condo thing - I tried to get to you too... I kept dosing off, which severely hampered my condo efforts. :lol: :lol: and yes - it was a shave. They seem to work better for him. i could not agree more on the oversleep thing messing with our psyche... sheshhhhh.... the routine is so set in the morning, I am on auto pilot, and thank goodness the kitty choir was on top of things and hadn't taken the day off. :lol: :lol: they were patient though: PHEW! And yes on the walk - off to do that once this posts, before the predicted rains show....

I hear ya on needing the caffeine this morning! Dubs woke me up at 4 all proud of his numbers, and shot time was supposed to be 5:30! i am not cut out for this!! :shock: :shock:

Mannie is looking so great!! What a great cycle yesterday, and today is looking solid in blue with no crazy bounces!!! Woo hoo!!

Very nice numbers today for the Manster! And yesterday as well! :mrgreen: Looks like he's really liking this new dose. I really love the pics of Nicholas on facebook, he is such a cutie!!!

Mannie! Dude! Thanks for bringing the gang over to my place, it really sucks being in quarantine, whatever that means :roll: All i know is that my mom is driving me bananas with all her asking me questions and asking me to talk to her all the time. Anyway, the fish was really good, especially the catfish with those funny whiskers :-D and the mice too....yummmy!! Please come back and visit me soon!!

Hey Mannie, That was a GREAT party. The FISH were stupendous! Those giant catfish were unreal. Were they really fish? I'll meet you at Zoe's for chillaxin' by the pool. Man, I'm tired too!

That was certainly a beautiful day for Mannie yesterday. I'm so proud of him...I know you are, too.

I can see those three scheming to see who is going to be the one who nudges you awake. No whacking today? Everyone good even tho breffis was late?

Glad you got some sleep and I hope you get your shoreline walk in. Rain.....love it. I'm envious. Have a great day...and Mannie...get back down.

I was scrolling through some posts and noticed Mannie's numbers from yesterday. Then I checked his ss. Doing well, pal! Maybe the excitement leading up to the party? Keep the momentum going Mannie!

I hope the +11, always a spike for him, isn't too bad.

Hi Tracy - i do so hope in the new dose - it's been really good so far. No complaints. I am glad that I shaved the old one.... and thx on DGS and the FB stuff. He is so fun to take pics of. FB has proven to be a nice place to host them all for those that want to see him.

Hi Ella - yep, got my permission slip. so off we went - just to the shore here, which is always good. We still have low tides, so I can walk a good distance. nice stuff out there! and yep - so far very good on the new dose. YAY!

Hi Marje - oh yes on Mannie - yesterday was great. very proud of him. seems like he's trying hard to get it all to work as it should. paws crossed, as always. yep on this AM - the wake-up duty usually falls to BJ - they all know she is the loudest and most persistent. and what is up with the no whacking???? -- yep - went to the shore when I could see that Mannie was holding the line, and safe to go,. nice time today.
