Good morning,
Yesterday's condo
8/13 AMPS=76; +1=103; +2=101; +8.5=112
8/13 PMPS=106; +2=86; +4=140; +6.5=184 (!!)
8/14 AMPS=121; +2=121; +10.5=130
8/14 PMPA=130; +2=95; +4=95; =6=86
Has anyone tried or has nutritional composition of canned food "Wild Calling!"?
I think this brand is fairly new, and it's not in the Dr. Lisa's list.
I sent an inquiry to the company via their web a few weeks ago, but haven't got a reply.
I sent another inquiry last night, but I thought maybe someone else might have had a better luck obtaining the info.
As far as I can see in the ingredients list, I don't see anything that might make the food high in carbs.
It's all meat, vitamin and minerals.
Last night, I gave a tiny bit of this food to Lucy, maybe about half a teaspoon, mixed with her 3rd dinner at +2, and her number went up quite a bit at +4.
But she went even higher at +6.5, so maybe it's the prednisolone not the food.
I didn't think such a tiny amount of food would affect her bg so much for that long, but I'm not sure.
Yesterday was a pred day, so maybe this is more likely the cause, but usually it doesn't affect her number so drastically.
I expected her PM number to be yellow this morning, but it was a nice blue number, so I'm happy about it.
Lucy seems to be feeling good, not really really good, but moderately good.
Her appetite so far isn't bad either although she wants finger-feeding.
I've been missing everyone's condos this week because of extra work, but hope to catch up with you later today!
