Good evening,

I gave Jynx 0.25U this a.m, after his AMPS of 277. I'm a bit surprised how much lower his # is this evening, especially after not getting his insulin last night! I thought it might take a bit to build up his storage shed again (if I'm understanding this correctly), so didn't expect to see such a decrease in his numbers immediately. He does get 1 oz. evo wet at 5am, so that may contribute to the higher morning # (taken about 5 hours later).

He just ate, and I'll give him his PM dose of 0.25U. Great number, but I hope that he doesn't drop too low again. I'll do a couple of spot checks tonight. Still just a bit nervous after his numbers a couple of days ago. He seems good tonight

nice number. :smile: I would definitely start by getting a +1 and +2 tonight so you can get an idea of how the cycle will go. There are some night-owls here, so you can post if you run into any surprises.

Please get a +1 and a +2. Getting these early tests is a standard practice in Lantus Land when you have low pre-shots. It's the best way for your to keep control of the cycle.
