SO, Jack's momma is a loser today, totally blew the curve testing. BUT, he did eat some wet food this morning, not enough, but more than usual. I was talking to my sister about her parrot, and long story short, I got this idea that instead of trying to just feed Jack something special, I would feed everyone else wet food and make him watch his bros and sisters eat w/out him. Seemed to work, cause he was more motivated to eat the pate than usual. I'm wondering if tonight I will try something with gravy and do the same thing with making him jealous of his siblings. I know he should eat pate, but the prime filets in gravy is less carbs than the kibble and if he gets used to the wet food, maybe eventually I'll have a shot at switching him to pate successfully. Since I'll be playing with food this week, and my schedule is wonky, and I blew the curve today, I'm keeping him on 9.5 units for another week. Maybe if this wet food trick lasts, I won't have to increase the insulin; hey, a girl can hope, right?
