Needless to say he had my attention right now he is so hard to get up once he drops he is eating baby food with karo which has become our get up from the basement food always now be back in a bit with a higher number but he is doing fine this morning otherwise he was 43 on the alphatrak so very close to the freestyle reading..

+2.25 36 not much change yet fed some more he still has what I call his I am low meow he sounds different when he is low...

Morning Ella no it pretty much missed where we live but we live south of the city but many areas suffered a lot of wind damage/trees down

Oh wow, Lisa, I was just skipping by before I posted and saw Do Lou's numberss. Glad to see him coming up. It looks like the bf and Karo are kicking in now. It's interesting you mentioned the Freestyle and AlphaTrak meters read closely. Is the Freestyle your main meter and ATrak back-up. Have a wonderful day and probably very busy with Do Lou, too.

Yes freestyle is my meter of choice just for its consistency and small sample size, I rarely every use the AT only when he is low for comparison and sometimes other times too I used my last AT strip this morning I had been using it more lately to compare meters I had thought to maybe start using the relion but I find its consistency when you retest with it same drop of blood can be way off the other day it was by a 100 points same drop so while so many trust it I find I cannot trust it to use daily... I think the freestyle reads lower then others say compared to the bayer contour I was using when I was given so many free strips. So I do keep that in mind in regards to the freestyle but overall I find it very reliable

Thanks Lisa, yes I find the same thing with the Relion reading extreme lower at times when I find I need a backup to check ATrak numbers and other times a 30-40 point variance. The other day I took my own bg on the Relion, and it read 130! Nice going with Do Lou coming up slowly.

Didi Do Lou think you needed a little help waking up this morning? :shock: Nothing lit a 30 number to get the blood racing ing the morning. Very nicely handled. I hope the rest of the day is nice and quiet. No rxtremes either wy now DL>

Lisa: so great to have a chance to pop into your condo. Wow...Do Lou just decided to get after it this morning didn't he? You did an awesome job managing his curve and bringing him up!!! \M/ \M/

Hope you are doing well....and all the cats and kittens there. Hope it's not too muggy in Louisville!!
