08/12/11 Zener Alpha Trak
AMBG 139 (actually was his +10 from the last cycle, we didn't get an actual AMPS/BG because we had to go to the ER
AMBG +16 98 (we got this right after getting home from the ER, he may have eaten a little bit, less than 1 t while we were gone)

+20 301 - gave 1/2 cypro, no appetite and not eating all morning
PMPS 345, s1.75u 4th cycle at this skinny dose, not counting the missed shot cycle this morning, ate 2t 11% carbs

After yesterday's ER trip and missed AM shot, Zener seemed to do much better than his traumatized beans! We all got a good night's sleep last night, taking advantage of the shot move to an earlier time to allow for more before bed checks. We found the 1/2 cypro appetite stimulant pill on the floor this morning, so it's highly likely he didn't get it last night. Still, he started eating much better last night, perhaps the placebo effect. :lol:

Got a +4, just because we could and he did have a rather big drop early in his cycle.

Zener's weight was down this week, so we are trying to increase his calories a bit to at least hold him steady. He decided he was tired of FF chicken florentine at noon, and wanted his blue buffalo tuna. We are glad about that - 8% instead of 11% may help us hold him in the blues this cycle.

Not a terrible two cycles (last night and this morning), considering a missed dose yesterday while we were in the ER. No drama so far today, and we are just anxiously waiting for Liz's appointment with the cardio doc on Thurs.

Since his appetite has been punk today, we decided on a 1/2 cypro to see if we can get him to eat more this evening and help get him surfing. He was completely miffed that we had the nerve to give him 2 pills tonight (he also gets zobaline for his peripheral neuropathy at night). I'll get a +3 and see how things look. Will likely be using Jill's large glass of water before bedtime alarm clock tonight.

Look at Zener go.....nice that you were able to slow him down. Those fast drops are not the best to have in a cycle are they? Nice catch and nice food management. He and Gracie are about the same (altho she was 157 at +2 and started lower). Cool!!!

Hope you both are doing ok.

Thanks Marje! I'm about to get a +4 on him and see if I've slowed things down okay. What is it about these Arizona kitties and their wild Saturday night in the wild, wild west? Maybe it's the full moon that we are seeing so clearly tonight! We still struggle to get him eating and that is our most frustrating challenge.

Otherwise, we are hanging in there. Liz is wearing a monitor for 48 hours and we go to the cardiologist next week. She doesn't feel great and is worried about worrying me! The waiting is very nerve wracking.

Still dropping... fortunately the cypro is working and he will eat, so more 15% to try to slow things down.
