WCR: Most Ps in place. Wow...I have no idea where these awful reds are coming from. I thought maybe her pre-shot number was a result of her eating the last of her overnight fuds right before I woke up for poke time. But Now her +1 is just as ugly. She is eating pretty well this morning & she did almost vomited on my bed this morning, but I grabbed her and put her on the ground...quarter size fuds vomit. Yesterday, at 4:40pm (they close at 5:30), I called my vet to get some more Cerenia and to grab a bag of fluids so that I didn't get into any trouble over the weekend and damn if she told me that they had already left and no one was there to get my order together, but they'd call me today to let me know everything was ready. Well, cool...I really can't make it over there today after school. Gettin' a little upset by all this mess with their office.

Thank you, @carfurby, @Michelle and Mannie (GA), @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA), @pollydoodle, @rhiannon and shadow (GA) and @Anne & Zener (GA) for checking in on us last night. Rhiannon & Liz, thanks for the info on Ondansetron & Cerenia. I hated that I wasn't here yesterday to see how she did on the Ondansetron. She was a little weird when I got home yesterday, but at this point, I don't know if it's just Shasta or interactions with the meds. She did really well on the Cerenia (pill form), but it just didn't last long enough!

OT: On Monday, I noticed that my jaw was sore. Not sure why, but I figured that it would go away. So...it's gotten worse, but I have no idea what's up and of course, I have no time to schedule a doctor's appointment or a dentist appointment?!?!?! Apparently, I have a very small case of TMJ, but I have never had problems with it, so this would be weird if all of a sudden, I had a massive flare up. I don't know if it can be sinus related or something else. UGH! On a positive note, my first day of school was nice. My new students seem nice. I hope they stay that way! My returning kids are great (most of them) and this should be a good year.

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Ugh on the vet...I can't believe they couldn't get your stuff together within their closing time! It's not like they have to count anything, since cerenia comes in a blister pack and a bag of fluids is just a bag! GRrrr.

I've had TMJ for many, many years...stress can certainly cause painful flare ups. You may be clenching your teeth while you sleep and not even realize it. I've also found that if I have swollen glands, that can also cause jaw pain. Hopefully yours will settle soon.

Let's bring those numbers down a tad, OK, Shasta? Have a great day, Deborah!

Sorry about the mess with the vet. I hope you can get everything soon. I hope Shasta slides down today. I agree with Amy. You could be clenching your teeth while you sleep because of the extra stress. I have TMJ and grind my teeth when I sleep. It's worse if I'm stressed. I have to wear a night guard.

That's crumby about the vet. Do you live near a Costco? If so they usually are open late and your vet could fax a script there for the cerenia with refills. Often it takes time to get over a panc attack which is why I kept mentioning the meds. Ondansetron can take a few doses to work. Max needs 2 mg and I just read last night that the best dose is .5mg per kg every 8 hours. It works even better as an injection I read but I've always pilled. All this to say if just giving 1 mg she might need 2.

Glad tge school year is starting off so well and that you like your students!
