a good start to our morning. punkin did his usual purr meow purrr purrrr purrrrr meow while i got his food and shot ready. i tried to tell myself he was cheering me on and not nagging me, like it sounded. :lol: having my son be chatty cathy in the morning and then adding the cat on top of it. :shock: a little too big of a start to the day for me.
he ate his food with great gusto (put face down, suck) then finished anya's plate as well. he waved his tail around for me to admire it in all of its fluffy glory, of course.
husband's family reunion at our house today. only 17 people coming - that's half of the usual Christmas crowd. i got re-energized last night and worked on the house stuff til 11:30 when i positively fell in bed. but the bedroom is completely cleaned up so all the people who want to see the remodeled master bath won't see the usual clutter in the bedroom. it's good to get it done.
PLUS, i found my dad's missing pocketwatch in a box of stuff that had been moved off the top of my dresser. it belonged to my great grandfather on dad's dad's side and i realized it was missing a few months ago. wahoo.
