Yesterday's condo
I am beyond exasperated at this point. Had to take DM to a doctor appointment and was gone from +4.5 to +7 but worried about her the whole time since she had dropped to 90 at +4....and I get home to a 182????
What's with that?? There was nothing for her to get into, so I just plain don't know what's going on anymore.
This cat is driving me crazy!
Then my Prime meter keeps giving me E-13 error messages (which is supposed to mean sample too small, but after wasting 4 strips and getting more than enough blood on them, had to grab the Confirm so I could just stop poking the poor cat) It's a brand new meter, brand new strips and there's just no reason for all the error messages! Going to call Relion (if I can find a number) and complain...this is the 2nd batch of 50 strips that have given an error message more often than they give me a number...at about a 5 fail to 1 success ratio
Guess the only good thing I have to report is the DM doesn't have to go back to this doctor anymore. She released her, so that's one less doctor I have to keep track of!
Tomorrow we're off to the hearing aid doctor to see about getting her fitted. Already got the testing done and she has "moderate" hearing loss, but she wasn't ready to admit she needed help until just lately. She's started to notice she can't hear conversations, especially if she's in a group of people.
Hope you're all having a better day than I am today!
