I can't believe what I'm seeing to be quite honest. This has made me very superstitious so be verrrryyyy careful how you phrase things in Champ's condo!!!!
Champ woke me up at 5 a.m. crying crying crying for food. I had left food out for him, but that wasn't good enough so I put out about 0.5 oz of some fresh FF. I didn't check his BG, but went right back to bed. Within minutes of eating, he was right back crying by the side of my bed. When that didn't work, he jumped on my bed crying. When that didn't work, he laid down next to me and kept crying. He just wouldn't let up!!! I looked at him, saw his pupils all big, and immediately sat up, thinking, "Oh geez, he's eyes are all big, I bet he's low" before I remembered he didn't have any insulin yesterday. I still decided to get up and give the baby some food, though, so I could go back to sleep. I put out about 1 oz of some 9-lives super supper (5%) and as he gobbled that up, checked his BG and it was 88. This number was about 45 minutes after he had eaten the FF. I went back to bed and didn't worry about getting up until I felt like getting up!!!! Which was about 10 a.m. Ahhhhhh, that sleep felt AWESOME. I gave Champ about 0.5 oz of food and checked his BG and it was an awe-inspiring 62. I'm very happy, but I don't want to get my hopes up!!
I have to work today, but at least I work at home so it could be so much worse. I hope everyone in LL is having a wonderful Caturday!!!
