Started Lantus today. The am shot was 0,5u but after your advice I decided to give her 1u in the pm shot. Hopefully all will turn out well. Thank you all for your valuable suggestions and encouragement!

I have to go back and read your previous post. I am glad you switched to Lantus.

I am all caught up now. Since Lantus is a depot insulin it takes time to build the depot. You likely will not know the full impact of 1.0 for 5-7 days. It kicks in for most cats around +2 so when possible grab a +2-3 test.
