Yesterday's Condo

So guess we are going to make sure we work that juice when we get it. AMPS was 171. Did not expect that after a NS day. I can always tell when he is high though. Went to bed at +2 (I was exhausted after moving furniture and things for a yard sale next week) and when I did, he was laying on the rug in my bathroom where I can see him when I sleep. When he is high, he just lays there and maybe gets up to drink his water which is right next to him. So lets see how today goes.

Well we have green....feeding some HC.....guess he REALLY liked that 3u.....guess tonight we go back to 2.75

Ok, so HC not working well, so gave him a little bit of honey on the gums....checking in 15

Up to 57 after the honey and baby spoonful of HC....the herd is outside the door scratching to get in the bedroom....I swear, they are like a zombie horde.......lol

Oh, good, that is a much better number. I'm sure Doogle is taunting the horde a bit too, don't you think? "I'm getting the good stuff. na na na!" :lol: :lol: Did the new guy get a name?

He is now up to 87 (which I know most of that is the honey). I will check him 30 mins. New guy's name is Griff. Because he looks like a lion but has these tufts of hair that grow behind his ears that look like feathered wings. So I got to thinking, he looks like a Griffin! So Griff for short. :-D

Well they do use the Griffin for their mascot..........I think it fits him well. So should we reduce him by .25u tonight or .50u tonight?

Ok, done :smile: He is surfing well and his eyes are so shiny!! He is really loving the juice that is for sure!

Dose Question for the experts.....should we reduce him .25u or .5u tonight? The DH is the one that wants to know (I told him .25, you dont go down that fast). But double checking just to make him happy. ;-)

+7.25 148....he did eat what was left in the bowl of the HC 10 mins before that test (it was like a teaspoonful). So looks like we have surfed this number well. Just need some advice on the dosing for later.

You're right -- decreases are made in 0.25u increments except in unusual circumstances. And, this is not an unusual circumstance.

Well after an exciting and unexpected green day, our PMPS was 343. He got 2.75u tonight, so lets see his work this dose like the others. Poor baby's nose looks horrible though. We have a couple of cats that are trouble makers and get either very jealous or just dont like most of the others near them. One is a swirl patterned tabby we rescued 8 years ago, always has had attitude (Loki) and the other is a HUGE grey and white named Data (because he was the first we got with a chip). Usually Data is a big scaredy cat but tonight he was on one going after Doogle every chance he could. Loki usually chances Doogle and loves to pick on him. Well tonight they both got him in the face and scratched his nose so he looks like a prize fighter. Doogle looks so funny when he gets all puffed up. His little chipmunk cheeks and squatty body looks like he touched an electric socket...........lol. Funny thing is Doogle doesnt just take it, he goes right back at them with a vengeance....lol. Oh the life of a cat herder..........lol
