yeah she's on the blue boogie board today whoo hoo! it doesn't take much to get me excited :lol:
I had to have a conversation with my daughter yesterday afternoon ohmygod_smile I went to check the "bloods" as I call it, and told her
if she wanted lunch to come on down.
I hear this loud meow and yell up to her that I'm downstairs...she comes running in the kitchen with a flippin hummingbird in her mouth :shock:
I grab her let the bird fall to the ground as the little thing is flappin ohmygod_smile and throw Doodles in the office with Gotti. I get back to the kitchen and grab a towel
thinkin what the hell am I going to do now :YMSIGH: do I go to the vets or wait and see confused_cat I take her upstairs and sit on the patio with her and
she was the cutest thing, no blood thank god, but missing quit a few feather's from her left wing. I put her down after 10 minutes, she's not flying very well and
heads for the end of the balcony ohmygod_smile great, I'm thinking now the dogs are going to get involved :YMSIGH: I look over the balcony and she was gone!!!
whoo hoo!
Doodles must have been looking over my shoulder yesterday when I told Stu, Doodles would make him some "birdie" soup ohmygod_smile

Those kitties like the birdies a little too much. My Blackie is too old to catch birds anymore, but one of my civies likes to escape outside and bring me things. A week ago it was a dead lizard, a few days ago a dead bird. We're working really hard at not letting her out, but she's an escape artist.

Blackie is surfing the blues with Doodles today. Woo Hoo!

Wow, I'm surprised Doodles could catch a hummer; those little things can dart away, lightning fast!
I'm glad the little thing flew away. :smile:

I just heard a piece on NPR that hummingbirds when on an angled descent, are the fastest animals on the planet. Maybe you need to have the Guiness Book people assess Doodles' speed!
