Good Morning, Everyone,

It looks like Rusty wanted to bounce a bit last night after his somewhat lower numbers during the day. Or maybe it's the insulin pooping out. We started a new cartridge of Lev. this morning, so we'll see. I don't think I gave a fur shot this morning!!! We had a nice play this morning with Big Bug, and even (briefly) with a 'nanner. It's quite cool and really a nice day.
I posted a link (Picasa) on Loose Lips to a video of Rusty this morning. I've never posted a video before, so don't know if I could have put the actual video there, rather than the URL. But it seems to work. Let me know if you can see it. (Sienne just PMed me to tell me that it doesn't work, so I changed the setting to "public". Let me know if it works now!!)

Nothing special planned for today. I did get out on my bike, briefly, in the late afternoon yesterday and did a leisurely ride around a local pond. I love this time of year: mid August with a hint of fall in the air. I'll get out again today. Also, it's "senior" day (every Thursday) at the health-food store and everything is 20% off for us lucky old folks!!

Sending healing vines to Sara as she begins her medication, and to Rocket, Champ, and all kitties who may need them.

Morning Rusty & Ella!! Looks like a nice low blue so far!--No worries about posting things, I still havent figured how to get a pix on here, so I'm still an e=idiot!

Nice morning so far. That "bounce" never had a chance. I watched Rusty's video, what a gorgeous boy! I think the link to embed it in the condo only works w/ uTube posted videos. And there you just use part of the URL address.

Nice start for Rusty today! Hope the new pen gives you better numbers!

Picassa and google are being disagreeable on my work computer, so can't wait to check out Rusty's debut video when I get home tonight! Willie actually likes watching the cat videos (of course while feigning disinterest), so he'll be happy too!

Hi Ella, I think you did a good shot this morning (no fur shot), looking at Rusty's numbers. You asked me in my condo if I used the auto feeder for Maggie. I did try it on her twice, and she did eat from it, and I was so pleased. The first time she just sniffed. But since she free feeds really well, I tried what you do for Rusty - placing a dish on top of the plate on the Cat Mate to get her used to it, and it works for Maggie really well, as it's raised like a little table. I leave food overnight on the auto feeder on a plate, and it's gone by morning. I think if I were gone all day, I would set the auto feeder, as well as leave a small amount of grazing fuds for her. That was a great video of the gorgeous Rusty, beautiful kitty! Your bike ride sounds so nice.
 
Great day for Rusty today! Looks like the bounce was short lived and he is so nice and blue (almost green) tonight. Hope you enjoyed your day!
 
Hi guys - so late for me... DGS just went home with his mom and dad so now I can try and at least say hello to everyone.

Nice on your bike ride. am with you - love the transition time from summer to fall - simply the best. Hope the rest of the day was good.
