Hi Lantus Land!

Well it's Caturday and Racci's asthma is much better today after a really bad night. All that extra medicine did it's job. She ate her 3 small breakfasts, pooped and came to me for cuddling and pets several times today.

I was up all night worried about her & only slept about 2 1/2 hours so will probably be napping soon (in between doing laundry, that is).Hopefully it will be a good day for Racci.

I hope you all have a good day and all the kitties too.

OMG, I'm so sorry to hear about her asthma and you being so stressed. I'll look at your other posts to see what happened.

Melanie, so sorry about Racci's asthma and you up all night with worry! Sending Racci some healing vines and hope you can catch some rest in between there, try and find some time if possible. Nice cycle today.

Sorry I missed you. Racci's had a bad summer with asthma and yesterday was just a terrible day for her. I hope you're all doing well.

Hi Ann & Roni!

Thanks for the healing vines and support. Racci is feeling much better today and hasn't had any asthma attacks. Her breathing is much more steady and slower. Her butt seems much better also. She's not as sore when I clean her and her sores look better. It seems like all the meds are doing their jobs.

Ann, I did have a nice nap today and I'm feeling a lot better now, thanks.

Roni, I just got back online so will check the other post too, thanks.

Poor Racci but I'm glad to hear she is doing better today and her numbers look great!!

Poor Racci, sorry she had a bad day yesterday and summer has been difficult for her. Glad the meds are helping and hope you catch up on your sleep. NICE numbers, Racci!!

Hi Marje,

She really had me scared yesterday! I've been dealing with asthma for a long time between my son when he was little and now Racci, and it never gets less scary when they have attacks! The only good thing you get from the experience is more of an arsenal to use against it and more knowledge of what the drs would do. I was very close to taking her to the hospital for a shot last night but the old bathroom routine worked and made her feel better in combination with all the meds building up finally. A good old fashioned steam bath will usually help congestion.

It's a good thing I just got an order of her Flovent in ahead of time. As it turned out it won't be extra but will be needed. I'm glad I have it tho. I'll have to place another order in case she continues to need double amounts.

Thanks so much for saying I'm a good mom. I try to do my best for my little love. :razz: I'm surprised her numbers are still so good with all the extra meds for asthma and the stress of it but thankful. She really likes this dose. :-D

You are an awesome mom Melanie, Racci is so lucky to have you. Fabulous numbers from her today and I'm so glad to hear her butt is improving.

Hi Libby,

This has been one of the worse summers Racci has had for asthma. I hope that doesn't mean it's going to get worse now every year! I may have to up her dose to the max allowed on a regular basis if she keeps getting attacks like this.

I feel like I'll never catch up on sleep though I took a nice long nap today. I keep dozing off tonight. :lol: It helped to get that nap today though, thanks.

It's good to hear from you. I hope Vyktor is doing well.

Thanks for saying that. Racci's my love. She did have a really nice curve today. She seems to be on the road to recovery with her bottom too, thanks. I think for once she'll be ok when the meds are gone. :-D

Did you open a condo? I hope so. If not, you should so we can catch up on you and Vyktor. Take care and have a great weekend!
