My kitty killed a bat last night.........sitting out on the deck    I had just nicely turned off the lights, it was 12:30 and i hear him meowing this awful meow, i flew outta bed, turned the lights on and see him with a bat.......OMG OMG OMG!!! He was just about to chomp into it and i screamed "don't touch it!!" I grabbed the dustpan and thankfully the thing was dead already, it had 2 big teeth marks in its belly and scooped it up (much to Leo's dismay) and flung it over the balcony.......GROSS! Man oh man was Leo pissed off at me, he looked everywhere for it. I have never been so disgusted with my cat  I checked Leo out, it didn't bite him anywhere that i could see. This is the second time ever he's caught a bat at my place, the first time it was still alive and i couldn't bring myself to touch it, i never did find it, although that time i left that very next morning.
Anyways, grossness aside. I know this mornings AMPS is food influenced, i left too much food out and he barely touched breffis, so i know he was snacking away this morning, as the dish was licked clean. We had a good test, shoot, feed and bath time is taking place on the couch right now.
Totally OT, but my sister was contacted by Animal Planets "Finding Bigfoot" about an episode her and i had camping a few years ago close to Banff, it was a scary night for both of us. Anyway, they have heard about our scary night camping and they would like to interview her about it, and she says she won't do it without me...... Apparently we don't get this program in Canada, but has anyone seen the show?
