Well, we're slowly working our way back down as the depot fills. She saw a brief green last night, so hopefully we'll see more soon.

Kit seems to be feeling like herself again. Back to sassing me whenever she thinks I am not moving fast enough for her (although a warning would be nice before full scale yowling - apparently I'm just supposed to "KNOW" that she needs something. She's cute so I'll allow it). Still no word back from her vet. We're seeing her Wednesday, but if I don't hear from her by the morning, I might reach out again.

Eric and I are working out a schedule where he'll work from home on days I need to be at work - I teach at 845 MWF this upcoming semester, so he'll work from home those mornings at least. I officially go back on Thursday, but classes don't start until the 26th.

I hope folks are having a good Sunday. I'm off in a bit to have lunch with a friend, which will be nice.

Good meowning Alicia and Kitster!

She's got a nice steady cycle so far. I think we'll be seeing nicer numbers in a day or two. So get ready for some action :cat::p

Happy Sunday and enjoy your lunch date today.

Ps. The date on your post is off by a day. Today is the 11th.

Hi Alicia, your plan to be home with Kit sounds great. Yay for Eric working with you to cover your teaching schedule.
I’m happy to hear Kit is feeling back to her adorable sassy self.
We hope you have a nice night and a gentle slide for Kit cat :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm hoping we see some action soon. The numbers haven't been great the last couple of weeks.

So glad to hear that Kit cat seems to be feeling better and her numbers are better.
Sounds like you and Eric have a good plan to look after yours truly ;)
Enjoy lunch with your friend and have a great afternoon! :bighug:
They were looking better last night and this morning. They're stagnating in pinks again tonight. I'm hoping it's just the highs before the new dose kicks in, but girl is stressing me out. She of course is pretty much being normal and could give zero effs that I'm stressed.

That gentle slide is so gentle it's pretty much flat. She is a pancake. I would love if she would pancake at a lower number though, ya know?

Also, I asked this in the main health board - but has anyone seen/tried the Cat Person brand? https://www.catperson.com/ It claims to be low carb, and I was just curious if others new of it. I saw it while we were in Petco today.

Editing to add - it's likely not the best for Kit with her CKD since it's high protein. But also she's not on a low phosphorus diet currently and has been relatively steady.

I've been curious about that brand also. Would love to learn about it.
Thanks for bringing this up.
