Yesterday's 8/10 Cleo Condo
Good morning all. I thought it was weird that Cleo's AMPS was exactly the same as yesterday's, down to the last number! She seems to be feeling fine today, nothing exceptional going on, but all systems seem to be working. Today I'll be giving her some Advantage because I spotted a flea (hard to do on a mostly black-furred cat!). I checked in with my vet and she said that there should be no interaction with Lantus/B-12 methylcobalamine/potassium that Cleo's currently getting.
We should also be hearing back from the cultures the lab was doing to see if we can pinpoint what the infection is that's got Cleo's white blood cell counts so elevated.
Aside from that, if Cleo's numbers continue to stay where they have been for the last 5 days or so (mostly blues, with low to mid-yellows at end of cycle, but barely dipping into greens even at nadir) I think I'm going to follow Marje's advice from yesterday and do a little micro adjustment to Cleo's dosing and go up to a 1.5F, since 1.75 was clearly too much. I would still like to see if we could even out that yellow spike at the end of every cycle that Cleo seems to have without having her drop too low. I know the dosing is based on nadirs and not the high points, but it would be nice to not have such big swings!
I had a nice swim this morning - pretty sure Cleo would not have enjoyed it at all, but I sure did!
Happy Saturday to everyone, hope you're enjoying it!
