Hi LL!

Yes, I'm smiling right now. I just saw Onyx's first "achieved" blue. YAY!!!!! Can't wait to see what the day unfolds. She won't touch the Wellness Core anymore, so after 3 days, it looks like it's all Young Again Zero Carb. Other thank skunky-poo, her BM's are just fine, thank goodness. She's looking--and feeling--more like her old self again by the day.

I'll be watching her closely today to see if she might need her first dose reduction tonight from the food change.

Thanks, Tara. I'm sure most folks probably think I'm being silly to get so excited over a single blue, but I just KNOW we're moving in the right direction now. It was killing me that I haven't been able to get her to eat wet food, treats, or gravy, and the high carb dry was keeping her so #'s high. At least it looks like we might have found an alternative for now, to help get her numbers down. Sometimes it's the little things that bring us the most joy.

And those are some beautiful greens Buster's sportin' today! Well done.

Blues are always for celebrating, whether it's Onyx's first or gazillionth! dancing_cat And feeling more like her old self, priceless!

Poo patrol (Chief Inspector Crapdash and Detective Poo) love to read reports of plentiful and perfect poo. It's our mission (as in BIG job) to keep an eye on the pootiful behavior in LL.

I think she might bounce around a bit over the next few days while she's adjusting to the zero carb food, but it feels so good to know we're one step closer.
