Ugh. I’ll be attempting to check for ketones today. Otherwise all Ps are in place.

I’m thinking of making my own raw food so I’m going to try to feed Ming pieces of raw meat and organ. I already know he likes chicken breast and freeze dried duck hearts. Perhaps that egg + fish sauce mix will make everything more appetizing.

I don’t think he’ll be chewing on raw bone any time soon. I’ve tried chicken wing tips in the past and he just licks it. So I have to cut it into pieces and smash them down for him. And even then, he just eats the easier to chew pieces. Use your teeth, Ming!

Anyway I’m glad we increased. Hope he works the dose today.

I shot half an hour early because I’ve got to go somewhere tonight. He’s just been sleeping all day probably feels bad. I gave him bupe and some SQF. He hasn’t peed all day so I wasn’t able to test for ketones.

Hopefully his numbers go down tonight.

I know you’re vegetarian but I’ve always wondered how people who are vegan feel about feeding cat food. Do they find more ethical brands to feed? It’s definitely tough!

I know you’re vegetarian but I’ve always wondered how people who are vegan feel about feeding cat food. Do they find more ethical brands to feed? It’s definitely tough!

Well, as a vegetarian, I don't find any meat processing ethical, no matter the brand. As a result, I live in a total contradiction between my love for cats and my disgust for meat. But what can I do? Macka has been my companion for 15 years and he needs to eat ^^, so I have to give it to him without thinking too much. I even hand feed him his pate, but haven't been able to deal with raw food yet.

I hope Ming is going to come down soon!
