Yesterday was..... BLUE day with a few yellows thrown in for spice. We had a nice slide in the PM cycle. It was so nice not to have any pinks to report. Even nicer to post a green. YAY!!!! Well done Mannie. Can we repeat today? maybe just a nice blue day? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. Yesterday was..... demat the kitty day!.... and vacuum day! A double whammy for Mannie. :shock: :shock: :? But he handled it well. Dematting took minimal proactive gear, and I walked away with only two scratches. WOO HOO! He actually was fairly cooperative: got all the chest and tummy ones, but all hell broke loose when I went after his rear end. Nobody messes with the Nanner Kings pompom, aka "tail". OW!! ;-) ;-) And to add insult to injury I then vacuumed, and came within inches of the nanners. :shock: I could feel the cold icy stare penetrating my back. Once I was done it was instant nanner care, making sure all was as it should be. Nap time followed... what a stressful day for the Nanner King. :roll: :roll: ;-) By PMPS all was forgiven... he decided to reward my endeavors yesterday with an active diving cycle. Guess I deserved that. :lol: :lol: This morning we had a great test, feed, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was USED by Mannie, (YAY, and back at it!) :shock: Elsa still thinks it has her name on it (yes still)... so I am back to running interception on the feeder.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty through Friday. We will go to the pool today, and then off to wherever the weather looks good: no doubt a creek or a river... WOO HOO: fun times! I will try to get to condos when I can - it is just too difficult when he is here. I will be thinking of you all, and your furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!

Hi Ann - Yeah - a trying day for Mannie, but he handled it like a pro! when all else fails: nanner security! And yes - we did get a permission slip, so we went swimming and are now off to visit the river. YAY!

Another great day for an outing with DGS. I too liked the story of dematting - did a bit of that in this house yesterday, but the furballs are floating around the kitchen again. Sigh! It's never ending isn't it.

DGS and I had a great day - We went swimming in the morning, and to a river park in the afternoon. We even got lucky with the weather: sun and 73. River park is always fun - ducks to feed, and so many rock to toss in the river. What a delight for a little boy. Pool was fun too. He's gotten very good at the slide that they have for the very young kids. WHOOOSSSHHHH! and down he goes. :lol: :lol: I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Anne - well we were flat yellow... I keep telling him that es it means action, bur DOWN, and not UP! I think his GPS is broken. :lol: :lol: Well, you coule be right on the wild adn fishy full moon party - i don't think Mannie will care what color he is: word was: PARTY! Love that photo btw.

Hi Barb - LOL on the not getting back - I do that too! think I revisited or posted and then come back and I had done zippo.... :lol: :lol: me too on that stare - all true too! He has that look.... daggers! I don't think I will ever be able to comb his rump: such hostilities. That is what got me the scratches and the hisses and the growls... so we work the by hand. what a pain! :roll: :lol: :razz: And yes - great time with nicholas - love that kid, he is such fun.

Hi Wendy - yupp!! It was another great day and an even better outing with DGS. He just loves being outside, never ever a complaint form him - just soaks it all in. and oh yes on the fuzzballs and the dematting. I really need to do him everyday, at least a section, but he just hates it so... gets to be a war sometimes....
