Looking better already this morning. Ive given her 2 doses (last night and this morning) of the nose drops and I havent heard her sneezy snort at all since before I started the drops. We'll see tho. The episodes didnt happen that often.
She seems in good spirits this morning, ate all her breakfast, which is now a regular thing. Wet food every day after her am and pm shot.
Hoping for some smooth sailing today.

"Put your left ear in, put your left ear out, put your right ear in and poke it all about. Do the Pokey Pokey but first you roll around. Thats what its all about!" A little song I made up for poke time, haha.

Since it's under 2 hours to shot time and I can't feed her any more, do I just prey it doesn't fall too low now? I'm never sure what to do here.

I think you could give her a teaspoon of low carb food to see if that helps steady her (as long as low carb doesn’t usually spike her BG in a big way)

Now? It's under an hour to shot time now. I went back to sleep. I fed her at +6:and +9 and it brought it up some, not much.

I just started feeding her, lol and took it away. She's probably thinking I'm crazy. She only ate a tiny bit.

Thanks Stacy. Sorry I didn't mean to ignore you earlier. I was about to respond and saw Marje had responded as well so I answered her. I seem to lose my mind a bit in these situations. It's early, I'm half asleep and I'm not the best decision maker in good conditions, so my mind is like scrambled eggs in the morning. I see I should have fed her some LC again at +10. I don't really have any good MC or HC foods as she just doesn't like them. I've tried a few. She will only eat pate. Everything else she either ignores or just likes a bit of the liquid. And most the pate is all under 10% I haven't found any over that.

Can you add a few drops of Karo syrup or honey? That can bump up the carbs to the food she’s liking?
Or would it upset her stomach?

I can try the chicken soup, but I do know she will only lick the liquid. But then thats where the carbs are, right? So I just waste the rest or try and pawn it off on the other two cats that might eat it. I'll buy some just in case. I had bought the Wellness core signature select which is 36% or something like that and she wouldnt even touch it. She doesnt like the Fancy Feast anymore it seems. She possibly would eat it one time, its hard to say. Shes particular about wet food.
Oh and I doubt she would eat honey on her own or mixed with food. She didnt like it when i was giving it alone. Ive never tried Karo syrup.

Friskies makes some pates that are HC, off the top of my head I know their “Indoor” varieties are all over 20%. Doesn’t help you with MC options I know, but if you wanted to have some HC pate options around it might be work checking out.

Thanks Elizabeth. Is the Indoor variety a pate? She wouldnt eat any of the other Friskies. Plus I really like to find food that comes in the small cans.

It is a pate, but unfortunately it’s the bigger size cans. I agree with you there, I waste a lot with the bigger cans because he doesn’t want them after they’ve been opened for long. Picky cats!
