7 days without insulin; can someone take a look at Sirius' SS

I've been skipping his insulin for a full 7 days now. His numbers are only slightly high, in the low 100's, but he seems to go back down to the 70's 4 hours later, without insulin. (Today amps = BG 115, +4 BG 76) I am terrified to shoot with his numbers so low, and them going even lower without getting any insulin. I cannot be home to monitor, and can only sneak out of work on rare occasions to check on him.
I've been testing him as I can, but for sure he gets his amps and pmps tests. My work schedule is very hectic right now, with me working forced doubles, then some days right into a double-back shift. (Which means when I leave work at 11pm, I have to be back at 7am...after working a 14-16 hour shift) I work for a trucking company, so the mass hysteria is good for business, but bad for those of us sticking it out...
His most recent dose was 1 drop; I don't think I can measure anything smaller.

Work sounds absolutely insane for you right now Krystie.

Let's take some of the worry off your shoulders with Sirius.
Those pre-shot tests are good enough for now.
Do please keep testing at each pre-shot if at all possible.

His most recent dose was 1 drop; I don't think I can measure anything smaller.

You can't measure anything smaller. Not possible.
Your next step was going to be an OTJ trial anyway.

Ok, Sirius's OTJ trial started on 3/6/2020.
Let's see if he can stay low at pre-shot for 14 full days total.
Under 120 is your goal, under 100 would be better. It is what it is.

I think he is looking great! His SS looks a lot like Sophie’s did when I was doing her OTJ trial. One difficult thing about the in and out insulins is that it can be much more risky to shoot some of those numbers that are just on the edge of normal, but the fact that he’s bringing his BG down afterwards indicates that his pancreas is doing some work.

I was very nervous that I was getting some higher numbers than seem to be typical here like you are, and thought that maybe her remission wouldn’t stick, but she is still in remission 8 months later and now consistently tests in the 80s-90s

I was tempted to shoot that 117 and the 115 today, but his little pancreas seems to be kicking in when it needs to. Thank goodness!

I told my boss I need to be home for him for 2 set times a day, without question or negotiation. We just lost two people this week because of the stress and the workload, so it’s a little easier to make demands like that. Lol.
Here is a picture one of my drivers took. This is outside of the local Proctor & Gamble distribution facility. Clorox is just as bad...

His bday is next week and I plan on being home for him and making him a tuna and liver cake! I’m just proud of him! Hahahaha
8 months of remission?!? That’s fantastic, and so encouraging!
