Happy appy, bright eyes, soft fur, snuggles, and anti-jinxes....

Yesterday I started a new batch of Fancy Feast...OMG, apparently it is THE best batch every manufactured! Talk about a happy appy....Trix gives it two paws up all the way to the sky. This is one of the times when inconsistency in cat food production is awesome. I know, though, if I go buy too much of it, it will get old, so I am refraining from overstocking my pantry with this particular batch.

Going back to work yesterday was at least as icky as I expected, if not more so. C'mon Feb 28th (when the lease is up)......

How cool on the FF batch. I so love it when that happens. Hard not to want to run out and buy as much as you can find. ;) I did with Mannie a few times. :rolleyes: it was a good thing the others likes it too, when he decodes it was the worst thing he had ever tasted. Silly cat. ;) I hope Trixie continues to love it.

It is the Classic Chicken Feast pate. The only two foods I feed Trix are this FF flavor, and Purina One Chicken pate - it's my attempt at keeping finickiness to a minimum by not offering too many options.

By Trix's reactions, I can definitely tell there are differences between batches. Recently she hated the "expires March 2017" batch of her Purina....I scoured EVERY store in the area for cans from a different batch. Crazy! In years past, I've noticed really bad variations in Wellness, too.
 
Nothing like a good batch of FF according to Tarragon. Enjoy it kitteths. Classic chicken feast is the only food T eats as well. He loves it and never gets tired of it. Have a great day Amy!!
 
So do you feed one food for awhile and then switch to the other when she gets bored? I am trying to keep Sammy's food limited to two to three, but I feed them both at the same time. I am looking for suggestions on keeping him interested in the food.
 
I agree about the differences in batches. Sometimes it's just one cat being finicky, but there are times when several of my cats reject the same flavor. That's when I figure it's a different batch. Why are these things not more consistent???
