Good Friday Morning Everyone,

Hot & humid with storms on the way. Yesterday's weather got worse and worse. This morning it is unbearable, but tomorrow might be OK. Stu is tired of the weather. Nonetheless, he has good appetite and enjoys going outside, where mostly he just sits in the shade and munches on grass. Early this morning he vomited up some of that grass, but there was no hairball. I think he's working on one! Breakfast (installments 1 & 2) has been consumed. The indoor litterbox has received its contributions, and we are ready to start the day. I'm about to do a +2 and then head to the landfill with a load of trash, and then to the Price Chopper to do some grocery shopping. On Sunday we're heading down to our camp for most of the week, and since the market there closed last year and the only source of "groceries" is a gas station/convenience store, we have to bring most of our food from here (the closest supermarket to our camp is 25 miles away).

Hey STU! We have almost the same number today dude - I am at 257. YAY! It is HOT here too - I spent last evening laying in a pool of water outside.. it felt so good. We need to find a buddy with a pool - we could get them floaties and spend the day loafing, and floating on the water... maybe poolside service ya know - where they deliver those tasty beverages, and kitty snacks.... Hi Ella - nothing like waking up an being hot before the day even starts. I hope you get your weather break. We can get hot here, but usually without all that humidity. Enjoy the landfill :lol: but hey - a break on the horizon: camp! Too bad you have to haul your own food. So many places closing up these days. Have agood one today, and stay cool.

this heat wave is awful .. it is just a tad bit cooler here today but still to warm for my likings! I hope you guys are keeping cool .. sounds like you all are having a nice time ... let's see some blue and green numbers today stu!!

I hope things cool off for you soon. Going to the camp sounds wonderful, even if you do have to pack in food.

Look at that! Stu did give you a blue number when you got back. And he won't tell you, but he might have surfed a little green. I bet you're looking forward to the camp. I hope it will be cooler there.

Hi again, Yes, Stu made it briefly to blue, but then right up again. I think it's the heat. He's been stretched out near the fan almost all day (except when he was eating!). We just had a tour of the garden and Stu enjoyed a little catmint rubbed on his head. It wasn't as hot today, but it has been HUMID. I wish the promised rain would begin.
Everyone have a good night, especially the kitties who are not feeling well. Be better!

STU!!!! Guess what!!!! there is a pool party at Spots on Sunday!!! dude - more of what we did today!! YAY! We should cook and stuff, do ya think? Maybe Shad-O and Raja want to help. So spread the word! Sunday at Spots! yes yes yes yes! more noodles and floaties! :cool: ~~ Mannie
