Yesterday...

Green nadir early this morning on the 4th 12.25 unit cycle! I had to slow him down with HC, but he was coming down from a bounce. The problem is that he always bounces from blues/greens, so he always has that bounce-breaking momentum pulling the numbers down too quickly several cycles later. I hope the shortened duration of the bounces means that he's getting closer to the point where he gets used to BGs in the normal range.
 
Chino's BG went down to 87 this morning. He bounced on the AM cycle, but he's already heading back down - and he's dropping faster now than he was dropping last night! That might mean that 12.25 units is too high a dose, and if so, I'll be more than happy to back down to a dose with a line on the syringe. But I'll also be more than happy if he has another green nadir for the 2nd night in a row!
 
PMPS = 385 (3rd meal LC 3%)
[6th cycle on 12.25 units Lantus]
+2 = 306
+4 = 202 (4th meal LC 3%)

Going to bed but setting my alarm for +6. If he drops another 100 mg/dL over the next 2 hours, he'll be around 100 at that time. I still have half a can of HC 20% from last night.
