Yesterday's slide

Happy Monday, LL! Do you remember me (Liz)? I think it's been 2 weeks since I did Zener's condo, what with a week in Vancouver (including my birthday spent meeting Wendy, Neko, DH and Theo and eating an extremely delicious birthday cake :-D ) and then a week to recover... This morning was just a little too exciting. Looks like an all night slide for Mr. Zener. I hesitated about 10 mins to shoot that 68 and was feeling smug about that since he puked up some grass in the meantime. :roll: But went ahead about 15 mins late then found a food puke with his meds and more grass. Jeesh. Fortunately, he is eating ok. I'm giving him little bits at a time and all is staying down. He is on the bed with sleeping Anne, who is blissfully oblivious to all the drama. ;-) :lol:

OT: Speaking of drama, Anne spotted a small wasp's nest on the patio a couple of days ago. So last night, I put on long sleeves and long pants and went out with a water bottle and stick. I sprayed the wasps so they couldn't fly so well (the hose would have been better but I didn't want to have to turn it off before I ran inside. :lol: ) Then knocked the nest down. This morning, I found the nest on the ground with a couple of wasps on it. I grabbed it and them with a plastic bag and smashed everything, put it in another plastic bag and put it in the trash. :shock: That is more than enough drama for me today.

Thinking of Kathie, who is grieving the passing of Zeus yesterday. He was a lucky guy to have such a caring bean. Big hugs to you, Kathie.

Sending tons of poo vines to Maggie and healing vines to Jupiter. Paws crossed for the OTJ trial for Jane's Cleo. :-D Congrats on Cain going OTJ! Woohoo!

Does this mean, Zener gets to have breffis in bed, with mamabean Anne again? :-D Poor little guy, with tummy troubles :sad:
I love to hear that he's eating, and glad it's staying down now.

Oh, yer so brave, Liz. I'm a bad citizen....I run for the spray, when a nest is starting on the house. Bad Me!! I wait until nightfall, when they're in, then spray...than hose down next day. Been stung too many times...now I'm afraid of stinging things! Give me a snake, any day :-D

Hi Liz and welcome home. Glad you had a good trip. Looks like Zener is over the upset tummy.

Awesome job with the wasp nest. I'm not as brave as you. I use the Raid that is in the can that let's you shoot the nest from 10 feet + away.

Well, HELLO Liz! What a way to start your LL condos again...green pre-shot, pukes and wasps! :shock: Congrats on staying alive through the wasp containment ordeal. nailbite_smile :razz: So this is the next shirt that I will either make or purchase and I think everyone on LL needs one...

I vote that you receive the BOS award for the day x2. One for shooting and one for the wasp adventure. Also, one for doing squids.
Congratulations on all. Sorry to hear about the pukus. Not a good time to have that happen. I hope he feels better real soon!

I'm sorry about the pukuses (not sure how to pluralize that one) but I'm glad Zener's eating.

Welcome back Liz, and wow, lots of drama. You're very brave dealing with the wasp nest! I would have called the wasp nest catchers :lol: if there is such a thing. Nice slide for Zener but sorry on the two pukes. Sending tummy vines. Things sure sound back to norml with breffifs in bed with sleeping Anne. Have a great day.

You are so brave to attack the wasp's nest. Especially with live ones sitting on it. Your heart must have been racing :-D

Lucky Anne to sleep through all the drama! Zener slides mixed with pukus!!

Hope he slides gently for you now, and hope you scared those wasps off for good~

Wow on the wasps! You are so brave Liz. I get bad reactions to the bites so stay away. The last in ground wasps nest at our house was taken care of by the local skunk. I now have a new found appreciation for those critters.

What an adventurous day at your house! Nice that you could dispose of the wasps without nasty chemicals. Why can't they just play in the trees out in the woods? Plenty of those around! Poor Z man with a pukey morning - not a good way to start the day. Looks like he had a pretty good surf anyway. Now put a lid on it, Zener! No need to get carried away.

Stay cool and fire free up there guys!

Sorry about the pukus. I'm glad Zener is eating okay. I hope he clears the bounce quickly. Wow on the wasps. I hate dealing with them. You did a good job Liz.

Hi Liz, and Anne and Zener,

Sorry about the pukus today, but pretty nice numbers overall. Good to hear that Mr. Z was eating :-D yuck on the wasps... I almost grabbed a nest Saturday morning. I wanted to use the garden hose, so I pulled the little styrofoam protector off, and there they were. THey built the nest right inside and were swarming around the faucet... Gives me shivers now thinking about it.

Thank you for thinking of me today. It is very strange without my Zeusman, I just don't know what to do with myself, so I had to come visit friends.

I hope you are having a great evening.

@Cleo & Jane - Liz was very brave! She knocked down the next last night and then she picked it up this morning, with lives wasps on it, and disposed of it all in a plastic bag. :o I managed to sleep through wasp drama, pukus drama, and green AMPS drama. I got to bed very late last night, or early this morning, because Zener was curled up with me on the floor watching bad TV, how could I go to bed and miss my Zener cuddles?

@Wendy & Neko - LOVE LOVE LOVE the kitty and the wasp cartoon! :lol: Zener is on his way to the pink city of India, but I see Neko has left already. ;-)

@Tara & Buster - good idea for those wasps to go build a home in the trees. We do have plenty! ;-) Mr Liver got all aquiver and blew the lid off. We had a dry and hotter day today, so we were all feeling pretty low key. Paws crossed for cooling rain tomorrow.

@carla - starting a morning with pukus is no fun, and the bounce is on. Liz is now the official wasp exterminator! :cool:

@Kathie - thank you for coming by to visit the Z-man. What a good idea to visit friends. I hope it helped you feel the LL love. We miss looking for the other Z in the LL condo list. Adjustment is never easy {{{{Kathie}}}}.

Now that the sun is setting and things are cooling off, Zener is feeling better and eating pretty well. Looks like a full on bounce from that low green AMPS. He may have even been a little lower before test time, we never know what he will do. We were considering a dosecrease last night, but I just couldn't do one more new thing, so we were going to fatten the dose this morning. So much for that idea. Paws crossed Mr Liver calms down soon. It may be an early night for beans.
