Scooter's SS is always beautiful.....but how do you handle it? Are you afraid to leave him alone for fear he can drop low?

I’m very lucky that Scooter is fairly predictable (for an FD kitty). I do worry when he’s in the low 50s when I run home at lunch. I give a little MC and make sure he comes up a little and put a little more in his feeder for later. If he’s low like that when I’m home, I just test often. I know that at any time, he could drop below 50, but so far he’s only done it I think 3 times in a year and a half. I know Yoyo has gone below 50 more often. When Scooter first started getting greens I was very nervous and worried, because I had no idea which way he was going to go. Scooter almost always eats very well and that makes me feel better about having to leave him. You do a great job keeping a watch on Yoyo and keeping him safe. Hopefully as he spends more time in greens he will become more predictable and you will be able to relax a little.

Thank you for the positive reassuring words. Some days are much harder than others when my fear gets to me, but then when Yoyo's BG finally rises I can breathe easier again. Hopefully he will get more predictable as you said. Thanks again
