Yesterday's Condo

Nice to see these two blues on his SS for a change. But, before I get too excited, his eating is not what it should be. Had two foamy pukys and it seems as if a hairball is wanting to come up. His +8 snack was not finished and he didn't touch his breffis yet. I gave him some Omega 3 oil to help maybe if there is a hairball and I popped 1/4 table pepcid into his mouth. I also watered down some baby food and syringed some into his mouth to try to jump start his eating. That didn't work as I had planned since he has not eaten anything on his own. At least the baby food is something in his stomach (thanks Carolyn & Latte for the suggestion!)
We just had a talk and I received some kitty kisses and some sweet purrs so that made me happy to see that he isn't acting sick or anything.

awww ... shadow I am sorry you do not feel good .. those hairballs are the worst, aren't they? But you do need to eat ... but this is a pretty amps!

Hey Shad-0! Did you eat too much at Doodles' party? Your mamabean is concerned that you didn't eat the nice food she put out for you, so make her happy and eat some. After you eat you can barf up that hairball. Would you like me to send you some of my grass and weeds? They work every time. Great AMPS today, buddy. Let's surf later. I don't think I'll get down to your level, but at least we can wave!

Hi Pat, Perhaps it's the heat? But it sounds like Shadow wants to rid himself of a hairball. How's his skin condition? Is he still trying to lick the sore spots? Have a good day and stay cool!

What alovely AMPS number. :-D But what's up with the not eating, Shadow? You know how our humoms worry if we don't eat well! So if your tummy is icky becuz of a hairball, let's get that right out of there soon, ok dude?! I'm not much for breffis this morning either, but I think I'll ask mom for some of that baby food. That stuff is YUMMY! :smile:

Awww, come on Shadow...eat some breffis. Maybe you should ask your mom to open up a different flavor of food. Maybe 6 or 7 different types until you find one that's appealing. She'll do it for you!!

I hope Shadow feels better soon.

6 or 7? Yeah, that sounds about right! I was reading someone's condo one day this week and they were talking about not wanting to waste food. I laughed b/c I used to worry about that, but I've gotten so used to tossing out food! In the beginning, I'd put the can in the fridge and try it again the next day but now I just toss it! It's wasteful, but what else can I do with a finicky boy?

Nice amps for Shadow, but not eating is not so nice. I hope your boy feels better soon and gets rid of the fur ball. Perhaps Shadow ate to much last night...you know, with the party and then the visit to Spot in the wee early hours. Whatever is ailing him, I hope goes away.

Feel his ears and the pads of his footsies. If they feel hot he could have a fever. He probably doesn't but just sayin'. (I had never taken Alex or Jackson's temp either until the night Alex overheated and Carolyn shamed me into doing it)

If he's running a little fever that would make him not hungry....

I hope by now if there was a hairball brewing that it has been dispensed and Shadow's appy is back. Just watch where you step until you know for sure... : )

Well, he ate at +4 and +8. But golly...he has the craziest numbers today

He never did give up a hairball. Ate for two snacks today but didn't quite finish his dinner tonight. Grooming like crazy now. Is there a party tonight? HA! Guess it's a party every night with these kitties!
But he is acting as if he has a big date tonight and needs to get himself in order.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if shadow has a hot date for tonight .. a handsome young man like that .. now shadow, you don't want to be wearing pink on a hot date do you?? That's just going to look funny ...
 
He saw Donadl Trump with a pink shirt and tie one night on tv....it's not only for girls anymore said Shadow.
And there were golfers who were wearing pink too. His fur is all clean so that's what matters to him.... :lol: He wore a coat of many colors today anyway....just so he is always dressed to match his numbers.
A nice plaid suit with green and blue and pink and yellow...UGH said his Mama! :lol:
 
Hi Past! Glad Shadow is eating agin - YAY! Maybe it is the heat?? I dunno - but when it's hot here it does affect my troops.... Hope all is better tonight.
